Firstly I would like to congratulate the committee on such a super show, it was clear to see the hard work that had gone into it. Thank you for the invitation to judge and for looking after me so well. Thank you also to my hard working stewards who did a super job. And a special thanks to the exhibitors who entered for all your support and your sportsmanship.

PUPPY (4,1)

1 Aston & Pavesi, Mr R, Mrs K & Miss F - Angel’s Phoenix Ron Weasley (imp ita) naf taf

A very impressive powerful red male who was 12 months old today. His head is large and square and correct when viewed from every angle, he has super pigment along with a melting expression. He has a correct ear set, open nostrils, dark eyes and excellent dentition. Strong and powerful neck leading to muscular and sloping shoulders, a wide deep and straight front with straight and strong pasterns, cat like feet with dark nails. A lovely level topline with a high set tail. He has great front and rear angulation with a well developed second thigh. He’s square and compact with great bone, substance and well muscled. A very beautiful silhouette indeed. Moved with power and drive and held his topline on the move. He won the class as maturity was on his side. I’m sure he is going to have a very successful show career.

2 Latter, Mr P & Mrs C - Stoneglad Shes A Rebel

A 9 month old fawn girl who is very pretty with a great expression. Her head is correct when viewed from all angles, dark eyes, correct ear set, open nostrils and lovely pigment. A strong neck leading to well placed shoulders, a wide and straight front with straight and strong pasterns, great front and rear angulation. Her topline is yet to come but I’m sure it will with age as she’s still so very young. She is well muscled, compact with great bone and substance but yet still feminine.. She has free flowing movement, power, reach and drive, Beautifully handled. Another puppy to watch for the future.

1. Latter, Mr P & Mrs C - Stoneglad Shes Just My Style

As soon as this girl entered the ring she demanded attention and what an absolute show girl she is, full of attitude and she knew exactly what she was there to do and she did it in style! A 9 month old fawn girl, with a beautiful head that is correct when viewed from all angles, lovely broad muzzle with wide open nostrils, great pigment and dark eyes with correct ear set. A strong neck leading to sloping muscular shoulders, a wide chest and straight front with strong, straight pasterns and cat like feet but would prefer darker nails. Her front and rear angulation is correct, her topline is yet to come but I’m sure it will with age. She has substance and bone but still very feminine. She is square, compact and powerful and in super hard condition. She has free flowing movement with power, reach and drive so she is beautiful to watch and you just can’t take your eyes off her, she could have gone around that ring all day long. Please to award her BPIB & RBOB. She looked even more impressive in the group where she could really take advantage of the bigger ring.

2. Aston, Mr R & Mrs K - Angel’s Phoenix Hermione Granger Astonpride (imp ita) naf taf

Litter sister to the winner of the puppy class so it was also her birthday today too. Deep red girl, slightly heavier in the head than 1 so not quite as feminine, Dark eyes, correct head proportions and ear set, wide nostrils with super pigment. Powerful neck with a lovely wide and straight front with correct pasterns and cat like feet. she has great angulation front and rear and correct tail set, She is a powerful girl, square, compact and well muscled however I would prefer more size to her. She was very unsettled today so gave her handler a hard time but handled very well. Moved ok, I would have preferred her to be cleaner going.

POST GRADUATE (6,4)

1. Williams, Ms P J - Diablo Sivola

Red male just over 2 years old. Head is masculine, square and correct when viewed from all angles with a broad muzzle and dark eyes, would have preferred wider nostrils and a better ear set however he has a super expression and pigment. Powerful neck leading to well placed shoulders, would have preferred a wider, deeper chest however he has a straight front with correct pasterns and tight feet. Good angulation front and rear, Level topline finished with a high tailset. Square and compact and in super hard condition. Handled well and it was clear to see the bond between him and his handler. Moved out well coming and going.

2. Warren & Green, Mr W, Mrs A & Miss T - Copperfield Hubble

Clear Fawn male approaching 2 years old. Extremely happy boy with the most beautiful temperament. Head not as pleasing as 1, I would have preferred a slightly broader and shorter muzzle and better ear set, however he has lovely wide nostrils, dark eyes and a lovely expression. Strong, powerful neck leading to a straight front, quite narrow in the chest but good shoulder placement. He has correct pasterns with cat like feet and dark nails. He has good angulation both front and rear. I would have preferred him to have been more square and compact with a better topline. His tail never stopped wagging, he is such a lovely character and was very excited to be in the ring so his handler had to work hard. Moved ok.

1 Collins, Mr P - Crimlisk Puff Of Magic

A fawn girl of 20 months old. Her head is very pleasing and correct when viewed from all angles. Dark eyes, correct ear set and wide nostrils, lovely pigment and the most beautiful expression. She is a powerful girl with bone and substance but yet she’s still feminine. A strong, muscular neck leading to correct shoulder placement. She has a wide, deep and straight front with strong and straight pasterns, cat like feet and dark nails. She is square and compact and very balanced. Would prefer a slightly better topline. Great angulation front and rear. Very alert and moved with real power, reach and drive, Another that you just cant take your eyes off when you see her free flowing movement, she’s a real eye catcher and I was pleased to award her BOB. After watching her in the group it was clear to see that she is another that suits the bigger ring.

2. Aston, Mr R & Mrs K - Angel’s Phoenix Mr Nielsson The Monkey Astonpride (imp ita)

18 months old deep red male. Very masculine head which is correct when viewed from all angles, would have preferred wider nostrils and a better mouth however he has dark eyes and a correct ear set. Strong, powerful neck leading to sloping muscular shoulders and a wide, deep and straight front with straight & strong pasterns with cat like feet. Square and compact, powerful and well muscled. Would have preferred a better topline and rear angulation. Moved ok.
