1. Hannington’s Boudivella Rosie. Blue bitch just coming up to 7 mths who won with some room to spare here. She appealed for overall type, has lovely bone and was good to go over. Feminine headpiece with good width to skull, correct stop, expressive eyes of good colour and placement, good ears, powerful muzzle and scissor bite. She presented a pleasing outline with muscular neck of medium length, correct topline with slight rise, rib developing well, muscular loin and tail of good set and carriage. Nice and layback of shoulder and moves out well with drive from the rear. Well handled. Best Puppy.

2. Saletti’s Marfidal Storm at Boudivella (Imp Fin). 8 mth old wheaten bitch. This pup has a delightful temperament but is really rather raw right now. Head still to fully develop but skull is broad enough, correct ears, eyes set well apart and scissor bite. Moderate length of neck, pretty good topline when settled, firm loin but could be a tad shorter and tail of good carriage. She has really nice firm hind action and when settled when she moved out ok on the go around. Needs time.

1. Hardy’s Amhard Rapid Beat. Two really nice bitches challenged in this class and my winner was this 17 mth old blue brindle. Quality girl carrying super bone and substance and with great strength throughout. Strong, yet feminine head, with good breadth to skull, dark eyes which are set well apart, good ears, well defined stop, powerful foreface and correct dentition. She presented a correct outline with moderate length of neck, characteristic topline, deep brisket, muscular loin and tail well set and of good carriage. Good angles front and rear and moving well all through with powerful driving action. Reserve BOB.

2. Kirkwood’s Cazcade Betty Boop. 12½ mth old blue who was giving a little away on age in comparison to the winner but another quality Glen and one who I hope I see again when she has had time to mature. She was really nice to go over given her correct construction and presented here in super condition. She has a little more neck than the winner, correct topline for the breed, ribbed well back but ribbing to still fully develop, muscular loin and excellent tail set on well and carried gaily. Delightful headpiece with good width to skull, the best of eyes and ears, powerful muzzle and correct dentition. Moving freely with good carriage and so very well handled.

1. Hannington’s Mo Stor Ailin of Tatlers Jacks Clann at Boudivella (Imp Nld). 19 mth pale wheaten bitch who has lots to like and was pleasing to go over. She appealed in outline with moderate length of neck, good depth of brisket, ribbed well back, correct topline, firm loin and tail set on well. Feminine head and expression with pleasing breadth to skull, dark eyes of good placement, correct ears, scissor bite but foreface could have a tad more strength to it. Good angles front and rear and moves out very well on the go around, nice firm hind action with drive and pretty good in front. 

2. Hardy’s Amhard Raspberry Fizz. 17 mth old wheaten bitch of completely different type to the winner, carrying more bone but one who would benefit from losing a couple of pounds. Quality headpiece with good breadth to skull, dark expressive eyes of correct placement, good ears, well defined stop, powerful foreface and scissor bite. Moderate length of neck, correct topline, excellent ribbing and tail good for set and carriage. Moves out well in profile with excellent drive from the rear but not quite as good in front as 1. Super temperament.

3. Lark-Jones’ Boudivella Arlo

1. O’Grady’s Amhard Quick Sand. 3 yr old wheaten bitch who I thought quite lovely. Feminine throughout yet retaining impression of substance and strength. Soundly constructed all through and therefore good to go over. Quality head with good width of skull, well defined stop, expressive eyes of correct placement, good ears, powerful foreface and scissor bite with nice big teeth. Muscular neck of correct length to give balance, deep brisket, typical topline of the breed, well sprung ribs, firm loin and tail well set on and of good carriage. She stands well in front with good width of chest and moves out well with drive and making the most of herself. Not quite in full coat on the day but that really did not detract and she was my selection for BOB.

2. Saletti’s Esp Ch Heremon Bear. 3 yr old wheaten dog. Super natured chap with a masculine headpiece; skull of good breadth, expressive eyes which are set well apart, correct ears, well defined stop and powerful muzzle. Muscular neck of moderate length, good depth to brisket, ribbing not quite that of winner, firm loin and tail set and carried well. Pleasing forechest but stands a little untidy in front. Action could not match that of winner. Good quality jacket.
