JB 1 Benton's Oakestelle Artemis. B/m. At just over a
year old I found her of outstanding quality, on her own, but I feel there
can't be that many around to offer her a challenge. Striking head qualities,
eyes well placed and of the correct shape, excellent ears used to best
effect. Her top line was just about as good as it can get, such an even line
from neck to croup, including a high wither, and a well angled croup, tail
set perfect. Front assembly shoulder to elbow correct, and under line good.
Moderate turn of stifle, short hocks. Smooth action in all directions, so
very sound and at the right pace, but in the frame for best. RBB
OB 1 Benton's Oakestelle Venus De Milo. 5 year old b/m,
I felt she really did have a lot to offer, so feminine for type and
construction. Beautiful head with eye's and ears so typical of the breed.
Excellent reach of neck, at first glance, her topline held true especially
on the move. But at present when over stretched her topline went, what a
pity. She will I'm sure improve. Sound and with out doubt a smart lady.
Excellent reach and drive, running true away and back.
VB 1 Lister's Manordeifi Miss Daisy At Newarp JW. Seven
and a half year old Tri, very well balanced head, lovely eye, shape and
colour, average reach of neck, well defined wither, carrying a little
weight, but moved out well on the move. Solid topline, really good angles
which included shoulders to upper arm, and moderate turn of stifle with
strong well let down hocks. Good feet. Running true away and back, very well
handled. Liked her. BB, BOB. 2 Griffiths' Alopex Little Summer. Nine and a
half year old sable. Soft expression, eyes and ears ok, ears in particular,
made good by correct handling. Liked her topline. Shoulders good, upper arm
a little short, good chest proportion, under line had a nice tuck at loin.
Ok for bone. Fore her age she had a smooth steady side gait, came up short
on reach but had the correct follow through. Well handled.
