I had a most enjoyable day at the above mentioned show and would like to thank the officers and committee for asking me to judge Smooth Collies. Many thanks to the exhibitors for an excellent entry of quality dogs especially in the Open Bitch class where I was spoilt for choice. *V* 1 Lusty. Juniperwood Just a Dream. Attractive classic girl with well filled muzzle and flat skull, correct ear carriage sweet eye and expression. Excellent neck and top line. 2 Russel. Manordeifi Satin Doll of Knoczkodan. Another good bitch with nice head, eye a shade light but pleasing expression, good angulation and free movement. 3 Forbes Multi Ch. Kangasvuokon Venice (Imp Fin) *PGD* 1 Moores. Manordeifi Bow Regard. Pleasing head, ears well set, good expression. Just needs to tighten in movement. 2 Bell. Koczkodan Nostromo. Preferred head and expression of winner. Good body and angulation Moved out well. 3 Beeney Coneypark Black Sabbath. *LD* 1 Denton. Brackenhaye Fields of Gold. Lovely head and eye with good ear carriage giving the desired expression. Great body all correct with very free movement. Just needs to get used to having his head handled. Could have a great future. *OD* 1 French. Breckamore by Design. Pleasing head and eye. Very nice sable, great head with well placed dark eye and lovely expression. I would prefer more shoulder/upper arm angulation but movement was good. Tight decision. Res. Very well angulated and sound moving. *JB* 1 French Wynele Alice Blue Gown with Breckamore. Classic head with lovely well placed eye, ears nicely placed giving a very sweet expression. Beautifully constructed and free moving. Coat colour is good and markings well marbled. 2 Benton Oakstelle Artemis. Pleasing head with nice soft expression. Good head with flat skull, nice eye and expression, good neck into body with correct angulation and moved with drive. 2 Meacham Blamorder Curlywurly Girly at Zellamere. Very attractive lady, lovely head eye and expression. Good length of neck just a little straight in front, moved out well. 3 Russell Knockzkodan Serenity. *LB* 1 Sweeney Llaisance Blue Belle. Well marked merle of good colour. Lovely head with flat skull, sweet eye well carried ears and good expression. Great neck and body, moved very true. 2 Denton Brackenhaye Feilds O My Heart. Very attractive bitch and good throughout. Just didn't enjoy being handled. 3 Moores Tomalca Buttins N Bows. *OB* Great class of very good Smooth ladies. 1 Leikola Natalian Satellite of Love. Beautiful Sable girl with excellent length of body, good angulation and reach of neck. Nice head with flat skull,good dark eye and ears well up giving a very sweet expression. Moved out with great drive. CC and BOB. 2 Hartley Ch Foxearth Finnish Spirit at Jimjack ShCM. Beautiful traditional smooth with compact body with correct angulation and moved out well. Lovely clean head with good planes. Ears well up, just preferred the expression on winner. 3 Norman Fin.Nor.Ch Seanua Serendipity
