Thank you for the entry of 11 exhibits in this non-CC
classification. I had looked forward to the entry as I do enjoy the breed,
but I was taken aback by some exhibits which, in my opinion, carried too
much white on their bodies which I think is an undesirable trait and
detracts from their quality, and for this reason I withheld first prize in
two classes. I felt sorry to do this but explained my reasoning to the
exhibitors and I appreciated their sporting acceptance. The three exhibits
appeared in successive classes and i feared the trait was becoming
widespread in the breed and that thought motivated my decision to withhold
first prizes from them.
V 1 Alopex Marionette Of Oakstelle, 9 year old blue
merle of good proportions and topline and moves with a long clean
stride.Good ribcage.Feminine head with good planes but could have a little
more strength in the muzzle.Sweet expression.Pleased me a lot and was my
choice for BOB.
PD 1 Tersurani Golden Dream, 7months sable/white with
fine head, which needs to develop a little more underjaw, good eyes and ears
and a sweet expression.I would prefer mor angulation in the shoulder. At the
moment a baby in the body and needs to fill out generally.
PGD 1 Coneypark Countdown Of Allangill 22 months sable
of good size and proportions and sound on the move witn a good stride.A
touch broad in backskull.Carries himself well on the move.Could be a little
cleaner through the neckline. Best Dog.
PB 1 Foxearth Fashion For Jagentraum tricolour of good
size and a quality head and dark eye.I liked her bone and feet and her coat
quality. She is sound on the mover but could have a little more drive and
her handler could make a little more of her to show off her qualities. Has
promise.Best Puppy. 2 Shulune Imperial Design, sable/white out of smaller
mould.Very pretty head and expression and an excellent ribcage. I would
prefer stronger bone and feet. A very good stride on the move. In my opinion
her white markings are excessive.
JB 1 S.Imperial Design. 2 Oakstelle Artemis.
PGB 1 Brackamore Butterfingers, a quality tricolour
with a lot to like in her type, construction and movement. She has a good
head but I woud prefer a softer expression. Sadly, she has a white patch
over her ribcage which detracts from her quality, but I think I may have
been too hard on this on the grounds of being consistent.
OB 1 Oakstelle Venus De Milo feminine blue merle,
clean, feminine head. Has a degree of elegance in her outline and movement
but I would like a little more substance for her age. Won her place on
topline and tail carriage and was Reserve BOS. 2 Foxearth Fandella,
tricolour witn lovely head and expression, good ribcage and bone and a very
good coat in lovely condition. Soft in topline on the day and a little proud
of her tail. 3 Int Ch Shulune Imperial Legend.
