What a pleasure to judge the Smooths. The breed has stayed true to the Collie with correct length of leg, neck, back and head. I thought my two line-ups were particularly pleasing. 

PD (2) 1 Hayward's Foxearth Fletch. Lovely headed b/m with a lovely eye, ears and expression, good foreface and a chin! Super neck and shoulders, loved his outline, sensible showman and a very sound mover, his b/m colouring is good. Would like a little less black. BP and pleased to see him shortlisted in a good Puppy Group. 2 Howard & Trundley's Jack Mack's Va Buidhinn. Touch of class about this very immature tri, liked his head and eye but more underjaw would enhance, decent neck and outline, very puppyish as yet on the move. 

PGD (5, 1) 1 Beeney's Coneypark Black Sabbath. This tri is very shapely and so well made with good shoulders, front and bone, well ribbed and has a good neck and outline, very pleasing in head type and a very good mover, would like a little more refinement all through. 2 Loader's Coneypark Countdown For Allangill. Liked the head on this s/w and has a lovely eye and expression, could not match the construction of his brother and lacks a little in rib, moves ok but was coating badly today. 3 Bell & Cowling's Koczkodan Nostromo. 

LD (2) 1 Eke's Foxearth Flag Day. Super quality tri shown in pristine condition, super Collie head with lovely eye, ears, flat skull and a rounded foreface and chin, so well put together and presented a sound, quality outline, moved beautifully to win CC and BOB. Did the breed proud in a cracking Pastoral Group. Well done! 2 Denton's Brackenhaye Fields Of Gold. Lovely head and eye on this s/w, super ears too, very good neck and front, so correct in outline, strong quarters and a very good mover, just a little proud of his tail. Res CC on his quality. 

VD/B (4, 2) 1 Russell's Foxearth Fashion Guru For Koczkodan. Lovely shaded s/w shown in hard, fit condition, at 9 yrs old still has all his teeth and a super body, liked his typy head very much, just a little grey now, reachy neck, lovely outline, strong mover. 2 Hayward's Ch Plaisance Betty La Belle. 8 yrs s/w in beautiful condition, lovely head and eye and a very pretty expression, good neck, lovely body and outline, not moving too well today. 

PB (3, 1) 1 Johnston's Foxearth Full Moon. Tri sister to winner of puppy dog, has a classy look about her but nowhere near his maturity, very pretty head with good ears, eye could be a touch darker, decent neck, lovely body and coat, sound on the move, in later classes got a little excited when moving round with the other dogs. 2 Russell's Koczkodan Midnight Sun. High quality s/w with a super body for a tender age, liked her head very much but could use a little more underjaw and ears need attention, lovely coat and condition and a sound mover. 

JB (3) 1 French's Wynele Alice Bluegown With Breckamore. Very well constructed b/m who is an excellent mover, liked her head type but a little more chin would enhance, super neck and lovely outline, lovely colour and so well marked, super showgirl too. 2 Fort's Shulune Imperial Design. Quality golden s/w, admired her head with lovely eye and ears, very good body and is very feminine in every way, good rear but a touch high stepping coming. 3 Johnston's Foxearth Full Moon. 

PGB (2) 1 Flower's Breckamore Butterfingers ShCM. Lovely tri, super for type with such a pleasing head, eye and ears, lovely neck, super body and strong rear, shown in good coat and an excellent mover and shown well. 2 Moores' Manordeifi Summer Magic. This tri is in a slightly bigger mould, nice head with good ears although reluctant to use them, lovely body and a most pleasing outline, decent mover too. 

LB (3) 1 Pletz-Kazantzis & Busby's Foxearth Fandella. Quite striking tri shown in immaculate coat and condition, loved her head with super eye, ears and expression, super neck, body and balance of outline, strong topline and a beautiful mover, just a little proud of her tail, so well handled and shown. Res CC. 2 Moores' Tomalca Buttons'n'bows At Manordeifi. Liked the head on this golden s/w very much, good neck and mature body, nice outline, sound on the move. 3 Johnston's Foxearth Full Moon. 

OB (4, 1) 1 Lusty's Blamorder Just My Luck. This tri just stands so easily over her ground, so well put together and so well constructed, so pleasing in head and expression, good ears used all the time, lovely neck and topline, correct quarters, handled beautifully to get the very best from her, on the move she is outstanding, particularly going round. Won her third CC. Well done. 2 Hartley's Ch Foxearth Finnish Spirit At Jimjack ShCM. This gorgeous tri is a great favourite of mine, she has such a lovely head in all details and is quality all through, so well balanced and so very sound. 3 French's Breckamore Blossom.
