My thanks to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at this their 70th Anniversary show, and to my lovely steward Julie, I really enjoyed my day with the smooths, The smooth collie has come on in leaps and bounds and is now a breed that has come to the forefront, quality today was very high, and presentation was to be commended, my hands were as clean when I finished as when I started, PD 1 Cowling Koczkodan Nostromo,Tri. well up to size, presented in a jet black coat which gleamed, good body shape, neck, and well developed head, with two dark eyes and ears nicely tipped, ample bone, neat feet which enabled him to move out well, very attentive to his handler. 2. Hayward Foxearth Fly forward. Very much the baby of the class, but what a lovely prospect for the future, a sable, with a most lovely head, eye and expression, with ears nicely tipped and placed, balanced all over with good quarters and he moved soundly for one so young, just needs time now to develop further. 3. Beeney Coneypark Black Sabbath. JD 1 Denton Brackenhaye Fields of Gold. Classically marked sable, lovely make and shape, in good hard condition, head handled well, balanced, well filled in foreface with ample stop and two lovely dark eyes, neat ears, covered the ground with ease, and could certainly do a hard day's work, considered him for the res cc. OD 1 French's Ch Breckamore By Design. Well, what can I say, this lad has it all, have never seen him looking as good as what he did today, an absolute art in presentation, and such panache, a credit to his very clever breeder, has everything you could wish for in a male, classically marked, with dazzling whites and a gorgeous correctly coloured blue , correct for size and so well balanced all over, with plenty of heart room and a lovely neck, head is nicely balanced and well filled in foreface, with two beautiful dark eyes and neatly tipped ears, which he never stopped using, ample bone and neat feet, and to watch him move, covering the ground with such ease was mesmerising, could not be denied the CC today, and it was indeed my pleasure to award him, thank you for bringing him. 2. Cole Sturtmoor Dream of Kasvelyn, sable who was unlucky to come up against the 1st, he too was on his toes,of a lovely make and shape, in good hard condition, head handled well, and he moved well fore and aft on good quarters, pleased to award him the res cc. 3 Trundley. Blamorder Back To The Future. VD 1 Bell Foxearth, Fashion Guru For Koczkodan. 8 yrs sable belying his age presented in good hard condition, head is still clean, with well rounded muzzle and two dark eyes and nicely tipped ears, good body, and ample bone and he moved soundly. PB 1 Lusty, Hutchings,Williams Blamorder Ice Cream Dream. Pretty blue with such ring presence, nothing fazed her, took it all in her stride, stood and showed like an old trouper, good for size, well made, and nicely balanced all over, with a lovely headpiece, nice eye with a sweet expression, when asked to move she covered the ground with such ease, certainly enjoying her day out my pleasure to award her BPIB. 2 Bell Koczkodan Serenity. Litter sister to puppy dog winner and equally as nice, just unlucky to come up against the first, no doubt they will change places many times. she too was in sparkling form, her tricolour coat gleaming, head developing nicely, ample neck, good body shape and quarters, moved soundly on well boned legs and neat feet. 3 Pletz and Kazantzis Foxearth Fandella. JB 1 Denton Brackenhaye Shape O' My Heart Trricolour litter sister to junior dog winner and once again equally as nice, presented in tip top condition, nicely balanced all over with good neck and shoulders, good front and nicely let down at the rear, head of good length, nicely filled, with ample stop, and a nice dark eye with ear carriage, she too moved gracefully and purposely. 2 Beeney Brackenhaye When We Dance, litter sister to first and very similar but just a shade finer. LB 1 Hayward Foxearth Fine Beauty, beautifully presented blue of good colour. lovely make and shape, nicely balanced all over, with good neck, and quarters, very feminine headpiece, she too moved soundly around the ring keeping a lovely top line. 2. French Breckamore Blossom. Another lovely sable from this very successful kennel, put down to the nines, have awarded her Best Puppy previously and she does not disapoint as she enters adulthood, beautifully balanced all over in good hard condition, head is lovely and very feminine, and her forte is her lovely smooth action around the ring, so so sound. her day will come, has a bright future ahead of her. 3 Trundley Juniper Joyful. OB 1 Hayward Ch Clingstones Hot Shot At Foxearth. Well, this bitch needs no introduction from me, it was a privelidge and an honour to judge such a quality smooth, nothing can be said that has not been said before, as near as perfect can be, and that head of hers is just stunning, her movement is flawless and mesmerising to watch, and the icing on the cake is that she is such a born showgirl, gives of her all, Tis' no wonder that she appeals to the allrounder as well as the Breed specialistThank you for giving me the opportunity, was pleased to award her the CC and BOB and later Iwas thrilled when the BIS judge awarded her BIS. 2. Peacock Back To The Start For Saraneth. Tri bitch put down in immacculate order and so unlucky to come up against first, she possesses a most lovely head piece, two lovely dark eyes, and ample stop with nicely set ears, good body shape, and quarters, and she moved soundly and effortlessly, res cc. 3 Denton.. CH:Kevranna Theras Enate Echo. VB 1. Griffiths Alopex Little Summer. Another eight year old belying her age, sable, of lovely make and shape, good front and rear with a lovely feminine head, and so sound on the move, really enjoying her day. 2 Bell Manordeifi Satin Doll of Koczkodan. Tri bitch of different make to first enjoying her day out, put down in good order.and another sound on the move
