PGD (4) 1 Trundley’s Blamorder Back To The Future, 19 months b/m, keen & interested in everything around him, good length of head, intelligent expression, correct ear carriage, good reach of neck, happy personality. Showed well for his handler. Front movement could be better; 2 Beeney’s Coneypark Cappuccino, nearly 2 this s/w, serious expression, good body & depth, well coated, good muscletone, easy mover but toed in a bit. Could use his neck better; 3 Vickery’s Oakestelle Sebastian Bach. LD (7,1a) 1 Leach’s Manordeifi Dionysus at Hilltarn, 4 years b/m, typy dog with attractive head, sweet expression, well carried ears, excellent coat & body. Moved well enough but was just a bit lazy when posed; 2 Denton’s Ryecombe Jaffa Cake at Brackenhaye, 3 years tri, good outline & proportions, pleasing head, dark eyes, clean neckline, good depth of body, moved well behind but failed in front action. Well handled; 3 Benton & Wood’s Oakestelle Vivaldi. OD (3) 1 CC & BOB, Hayward’s Ch Foxearth Flintab, 3½ years b/m who impressed with his lovely silhouette, arched neck of fair length, masculine head, kind eyes, used his ears well, correct coat, well conditioned, good ribcage. Held his topline when moving, well muscled hindquarters, calm steady showman, responded so well to his handler; 2 RCC, Williams’ Ch McClelland Hotter Than Hell, 4 years tri, nicely proportioned & in good form. Typical head, well carried ears, intelligent expression, excellent coat & condition, another who was well handled, moved OK. Two worthy chs; 3 Griffiths’ Alopex Matt Finnish.
PB (1) 1 BP, Moore’s Manordeifi Summer Magic, 10 months tri, strongly made puppy but carrying rather too much puppy fat today. Attractive head & expression, lovely ears when something took her interest. Lively & active on the move but front & front movement must improve. Standing a bit slack on her feet but this could be caused by being overweight. JB (1) 1 White’s Breckamore Bridget Jones, appealing young tri of 13 months, quality head, made the most of herself, consistent showgirl who responded well to her handler. Good body & bone, excellent coat, active mover. PGB (5,2) 1 Peacock’s Blamorder Back To The Start for Saraneth, tri of 19 months, eager to please attitude, showed very well, attractive head, used her ears to advantage, good coat & muscletone, moved with animation; 2 Moore’s Tomalca Buttons’N’Bows at Manordeifi, 2 years s/w, feminine bitch, steady showgirl but could be a little more enthusiastic on the move. Excellent coat; 3 Trundley’s Juniperwood Joyful. LB (7,4) 1 RCC, Benton’s Oakestelle Venus De Milo, 20 months b/m, easy winner here I thought. Feminine head, sweet expression, perfectly carried ears, good reach of neck, strong body, went well, at one with her handler on the move; 2 French’s Breckamore Bang Tidy, well coated tri of nearly 2, good bone & body, intelligent expression but one ear not quite connecting today. Steady showgirl, moved OK; 3 Kinsey’s Ryecombe Jovial Jasmine of Sturtmoor. OB (9,2) 1 CC, her third I understand. Roden’s Fortune Cookie from Breckamore, had to work hard to win as this was quite an even class. I really liked this 3 years old sable but at times her handler did her no favours by posing her downhill with hindquarters not in the right place etc. Excellent quality type & proportions, lovely head, sweet expression, went well once she found her stride, good neckline & topline, well conditioned, good body & depth, natural showgirl; 2 Hayward’s Breckamore Fly Me To Foxearth, 2 years sable, nice looking bitch, easy mover, well proportioned, good coat, clean neckline, well muscled quarters, expertly handled. I preferred head & expression of 1. I was interested to find 1 & 2 were out of Foxearth Sticky Fingers as was Bang Tidy, second in LB; 3 Denton’s Kevranna Theras Enate Echo.
