It was a pleasure to judge this very good entry of quality dogs. The standard was very high & the exhibitors were to be congratulated on the presentation of the exhibits. My thanks to my stewards who enabled me to get through in very good time.
VD (1) 1 Griffiths’ Alopex Matt Finnish, a quality dog standing & moving, who carries his age well. He is well proportioned with good angulation front & rear. Good head with neat ears, which he showed to advantage. Good legs & feet, ample length of neck & tail. PD (1) 1 Trundley’s Blamorder Back To The Future, well broken merle, with a pleasing outline, good length of back in comparison with height. Well proportioned head, with neat ears & nicely placed eye. Good underjaw, & well developed for age. Moved & co-operated well with handler. BP. JD (1) 1 Bardill’s Plaisance Bailey, well broken merle, pleasing overall outline & is well constructed front & rear. Head is well proportioned with flat skull & nicely placed ears. A little reluctant on the move & very proud of his tail.PGD (1) 1 Gay’s Yagane’s Blue Mist, well broken merle, coat of good colour & texture. Stood foursquare on good legs & feet. Well angulated front & rear. Head is well proportioned, with nicely placed ears which he used to advantage. Moved with drive & co-operated well with handler. LD (4) 1 Denton’s Ryecombe Jaffa Jake, tri of good colour & overall construction, straight front & good angulated front & rear. Head is well proportioned with nicely placed ears giving the desired expression. Stood foursquare with good legs & feet. Good depth of body & spring of rib, moved very well & co-operated well with handler. RCC; 2 Giddings’ Ryecombe Discovered Gold, very pleasing sable, who appealed for her overall make & shape. Head is well proportioned, with good underjaw & flat skull. Used ears to advantage. Good outline & length of tail; stood foursquare & co-operated well with handler, just preferred the movement of first placed; 3 Czyzak’s Cuba Libre Smooth Drinks. OD(3) 1 French’s Ch Foxearth Flock Master for Breckamore, this tri dog stood out for his overall quality & standing he looked excellent in profile. His head is top quality with good foreface & backskull, with nicely placed ears which he used to advantage giving the desired expression. Good depth of body & ribcage, straight front & well angulated front & rear. He won this class of high quality dogs & I was pleased to award him CC & BOB; 2 Williams’ Ch Foxearth Forward Thinking for Mcclelland, another top quality dog who appealed for his overall type. Head is well proportioned & nicely placed ears which he showed to advantage. Good depth of body & angulation front & rear. Stood foursquare & showed very well, just preferred the movement of first placed winner; 3 Williams’ Ch Mcclelland Hotter Than Hell. GCD (2) 1 R Discovered Gold; 2 Trundley’s Juniperwood King Of Kings, carried his age well & has a well constructed, body, well proportioned with good depth & angulation front & rear. A little reluctant to show his ears. He moved with drive.
VB (1) A. PB (2) 1 Peacock’s Blamorder Back To The Start, I liked this puppy for her overall type with pleasing length of neck & tail. Head is well proportioned with flat skull & nicely placed ears which she used to advantage, just coming into good coat for her age. Moved well and co-operated well with handler; 2 Forbes’ Willowhurst Vanity, a tri with many appealing points, she is well proportioned with good head & eye, body is well constructed with good depth of body, a little reluctant to make the best of herself. JB (7,3) 1 Hayward’s Breckamore Fly Me to Foxearth, this sable appealed for her overall type, both standing & moving, as she moved with drive fore & aft. Body is well proportioned with good angulation front & rear. Straight front, good legs & feet. Has ample depth of body & bone, but still very feminine. Head is well proportioned, with neat ears, which she showed non-stop. Her movement was first class, which won her the CC on the day; 2 Norman’s Seanus Serendipity, another quality sable, who stood foursquare on good legs & feet, front & rear is well angulated. Ample depth in body & heartroom, nice head & neatly placed ears which she used to advantage. Moved & co-operated well with handler; 3 Fort’s Shulune Imperial Storm. PGB (4,2) 1 Trundley’sJuniperwood Kinda Special, well broken merle of excellent type, make & shape. Body is well proportioned, with good angulation front & rear. Straight front & good legs & feet. Head is well proportioned with flat skull & nicely placed ears, which she used non-stop. Her different coloured eyes did not detract from her overall expression. Moved & co-operated well with her hander; 2 Woodstock’s Kangasvuokon Valentine at Hylaird, sable who appealed for her overall type, she is well proportioned, stood foursquare & showed very well for handler. Appealing head, with well placed ears. Preferred the movement of above. LB (9,2) 1 Beeney’s Ryecombe Jolly Jonquil at Coneypark, appealed for her overall make & shape, with excellent outline. Head handles well, with nicely placed ears which she used non-stop. Well rounded foreface & good underjaw, good length of neck & tail & nice topline. Moved very well & pleased to award her RCC; 2 Hayward’s Foxearth Fly Orchis, I liked her overall type, as she has a long neck & well proportioned head, with flat skull & well rounded foreface. Her body is well proportioned with good depth of body & well angulated front & rear. Moved well & co-operated well with hander; 3 Gay’s Yagane’s Lavender Mist. OB (10,4) 1 Forbes’ Est/Rus Ch Kangasvuokon Venice, when standing, I thought this bitch was superb, as she is so well constructed. Very pleasing head, with nicely placed ears which she used non-stop. She has a good outline & good angulation front & rear. She drew my attention on entering the ring for her overall type, just beaten on movement today; 2 Sewell’s Ch Foxearth Dressed To Frill, another very nice bitch, who instantly appealed for her overall type. Head is well proportioned with nicely placed eye, neat ears, giving the desired expression. Good angulation front & rear & co-operated well with handler; 3 Norman’s Ryecombe Drama Queen. GCB (0).
