I would like to thank the officers and  committee for inviting me to judge smooth collies at this level for the first  time. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for giving me a really good  entry and the sporting way they accepted my placings. My main winners are true  examples of the breed, full of breed type, I really was spoilt for choice as  there were a lot a quality dogs to choose from, especially from the higher classes.

JD
Bell Koczkodan Nosblyth, well grown tri colour shown in good order,  14 months old possesses a good length of head, good neck and body shape,  movement difficult to assess due to him being too full of himself, when he  settles he should do quite well.

PGD
1. Bott Mcclelland Hot Shot, this  dog is nicely put together having a good outline and make and shape, his head  handles well and is nicely balanced correct stop ,good almond eye and neat well  placed ears creating a pleasing expression, good neck and depth of chest nicely  angulated, level top line kept on the move, shown in good order nice tight  jacket. 2. Leach Manordeifi Dionysus at Hilltarn-blue merle of good colour  nicely broken up, smaller dog than my winner but of good shape, his head is  balanced and has neat ears, he could carry a little more weight to advantage,  moved well.

LD
1Williams Mcclelland Hotter than Hell, 2 years  old tricolour in lovely order throughout and really looking the part today, his  head is clean and of good length correctly placed stop .his eye is well set  creating an soft alert expression and he uses his neat well placed ears to  advantage, lovely long neck leading into beautifully angulated shoulders good  depth of chest, level top line fabulous rear angulation and tail of good  length, when this dog is stood he really makes an impact for his overall  balance, I just loved him. On the move he did not disappoint, he so deserved  the CC his first, in this form his others cannot be far away. Well done. 2.  Forbes Natalain Veni Vidi Vici at Willowhurst, sable and white smaller all  through than my winner, but well proportioned and balanced, he has come on so  well since the last time I saw him, a nicely made dog with a pleasing head and  expression, good neck and outline well angulated, moved well enough. 3. Bardill  Plaisance Fenton le Beau.
