VD (1) 1, RCC, Lister’s Ch Eridor Im Mr Blu at Newarp, 8 years of good size & shape, pleasing head & eye shape, excellent front still for his age with good bone & good depth of brisket, excellent topline & pleasing on the move. PD (0). JD (2) 1 Denton’s Ryecombe Jaffa Jake, 14 months, of the correct size & shape, excellent head, neck, front, bone & shoulder placement, good topline & hindquarters, pleasing on the move; 2 Bell’s Koczkodan Nosblyth, would like better head on this dog. Dark eye of correct shape, good front, bone & feet, correct topline. Would have liked him slightly better in hindquarters & on the move. PGD (3) 1 Bott’s Mcclelland Hot Shot, well shaped head & neck, good shoulder & topline, correct depth & ribcage, pleasing on the move; 2 Russell’s Foxearth Fashion Guru for Koczkodan, already showing his age, good head & expression, plenty of depth of brisket. Would like better movement. LD (4) 1, CC, Hills’ Devern Denman, b/t at the right size & shape, good head, neck, shoulder & correct front, feet & depth of brisket, correct ribbing & correct topline, excellent in hindquarters & moving with drive. I was surprised to learn this was his first CC; 2 Giddings’ Ryecombe Discovered Gold, good head & expression with correct front & feet, right amount of bone. A touch slack in the rear on the move; 3 Forbes’ Natalain Veni Vidi Vici at Willowhurst. OD (6) 1 French’s Foxearth Flock Master for Breckamore, b/t & fully mature & masculine, pleasing head, front & feet, good depth of brisket & correct shoulder & ribcage, moving with drive; 2 Hayward’s Foxearth Flintab, merle with correct head & well used ear placed well on skull, correct topline & forechest. Not so mature as 1 & a touch longer in body than I prefer, would have liked slightly better rear movement; 3 Griffiths’ Alopex Matt Finnish. GCD (0).
VB (3) 1 Burton’s Ch Glencorrie Begorgeous, t/cr with good head, neck & front, plenty of correct bone & good depth of brisket, going well for her age & a worthy champion; 2 Robinson’s Southcombe She’s The One, looking her age, would have liked a better shaped head. Good ear shape. Tucked up behind on the move. PB (1) 1, BP, Griffiths’ Foxearth Furore, 8 months merle & just needs time to fill in & tighten all round. A very nice baby in the making, lovely feminine head & expression, correct topline & tailset carried well on the move. JB(4) 1 Beeney’s Ryecombe Jolly Jonquil at Coneypark, pleasing head with well shaped eye & ears, good forechest, front & feet, correct topline & good on the move; 2 Russell’s Koczkodan Nos Kerenza, larger than 1 & a nice bitch to the last rib. Would have liked better hindquarters & rear movement; 3 Evans’ Southcombe Stylistic. PGB (4) 1 French’s Finnish Touch for Breckamore, t/cr with pleasing head & neck, well shaped eye, good front, bone & feet, correct depth of brisket & correct ribcage, pleasing on the move; 2 Roden’s Fortune Cookie from Breckamore, much finer in body than 1 & a touch snipey in head, would like to see more of this bitch all round, better hindquarters & better on the move at the rear; 3 Bott’s Kingrock Bethany for Bardonhill. LB (9) 1 Lusty’s Juniperwood Just A Dream, t/cr of good size & shape with pleasing head, front & feet, good depth of brisket & correct ribcage, correct topline & good on the move; 2 Sewell’s Foxearth Dressed To Frill, longer in body than 1. Excellent front assembly with well set ears & good topline, pleasing on the move; 3 Burton’s Glencorrie Sunsationelle. OB (6) Best class of the day by far. 1, CC & BOB, Hayward’s Kiiramanna She Makes My Day at Foxearth, merle, feminine expression, of the correct size & shape with excellent head & neck, good depth of brisket & right ribcage, excellent jacket & in hard condition, just a joy to watch on the move & moving with drive & purpose. I understand this was her fourth CC at such a young age; 2, RCC, Lister’s Manordeifi Miss Daisy at Newarp, t/cr, unlucky to meet 1 as for me she fills my eye. Very little to fault her on & I am sure she will have her day soon. Best of heads, neck & front, good on the move & mature; 3 Benton’s Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle. GCB (1) 1 A Marionette of O, an old favourite of mine & not long off her litter, she has got her figure back very quickly. Good size & shape, smaller than most but all in proportion, lovely head, front & feet, good ribcage & pleasing on the move.
