PD (1) 1 Gay’s Yagane’s Blue Mist, 9 months blue merle of excellent type & balance, quality head with smooth contours, well placed ears, excellent neck, well angulated, free easy mover, firm topline, colour needs to clear. JD (2) 1 Forbes’ Natalain Veni Vidi Vici at Willowhurst, 18 months sable of quality, smooth, well balanced head, nicely constructed with excellent angulation fore & aft, steady mover but could hold his tail better. Standing or moving he used himself so well & always looked the part, hence he sailed through three classes & won the CC & BOB. Has a definite look of class; 2 Denton’s Ryecombe Jaffa Jake, 12 months tri, not as pleasing in head as 1 but very much a stallion. Not as well angulated behind as 1 & needs to firm up in topline. Moves true enough. PGD (2) 1 N Veni Vidi Vici at W; 2 Cook’s Ryecombe Duncan Disorderly at Kimbru, headstrong & energetic sable, masculine head, good basic shape but doesn’t always make the best of himself, when he settled moved adequately. LD (7) 1 N Veni Vidi Vici at W; 2 French’s Foxearth Flock Master for Breckamore, handsome tri who throws out a very balanced outline & moves steadily & with style. A slightly darker eye would enhance his expression & he could have more rear angulation but he pushed hard. Moves true up & down. RCC; 3 Williams’ McClelland Hotter Than Hell. OD (2) 1 White’s Ch Foxearth Frappucino, very well constructed tri whose reluctance to use his ears lessens his overall impact. However when you analyse him he has a decent head but excels on the move. If only he looked more interested on the stack; 2 Williams’ Foxearth Forward Thinking for McClelland, sable trying a lot harder than 1 & an obliging well schooled showman. Preferred his head & expression to 1 but 1 had better angulation & consequently moved with more scope. VD (1) 1 Lister’s Ch Eridor I’m Mr Blu at Newarp, 8 year old blue merle, masculine, typical & with quality. Excellent head qualities, moved well behind but could have been a little freer in front.

PB (5) 1 Evans’ Southcombe Stylistic, 11 months tri who stood away in the class. Excellent head type, strongly made & well put together. Nicely balanced outline & moved soundly but just needs to let down behind with maturity. In the challenge she impressed me more than any of the other bitches for her substance so won the CC; 2 Moores’ Tomalca Buttons N Bows at Manordeifi, 11 months sable out of a much more petite mould than 1. Pretty head but not the underjaw of 1, balanced outline with good angles throughout & moved with some scope; 3 Evans’ Southcombe Sapphira. JB (2) 1 Rice’s Kevranna Theras Enate Echo, 15 months sable who would benefit from a manicure! Feminine head, typical eye, well balanced outline with good angles & when she settled she had very pleasing carriage; 2 Pointon’s Kingrock Claudia, 15 months sable, not quite the head & expression of 1 or her general deportment. Good basic shape & size, moved better behind than in front. PGB (1) 1 Roden’s Fortune Cookie from Breckamore, very feminine sable with just enough substance. Attractive head & expression but could have a little more strength of foreface. Good basic shape & balance & when she got moving she went with some style & purpose. LB (2) 1 Robinson’s Southcombe Summer Special at Dawcher, sable of quality who could have carried a pound more weight to advantage. Nicely balanced head with very appealing expression, good overall balance but she has a tendency to break in topline when standing. Moves so true up & down & going around she covers the ground well & holds her topline. Carrying more body condition she could have won the CC but had to be content with the Reserve; 2 Lister’s Manordeifi Miss Daisy at Newarp, tri who in contrast could carry a pound less. Balanced head, not so keen to use her ears as 1 & not quite as well angulated behind. Still goes around with drive & purpose but not as true up & down as 1. OB (6) 1 Sehlin’s Nor/Dan Ch Clingstone’s Sounds Good, tri very moderate in all respects, pleasing head & expression, moderately angulated & moved well enough but not with the scope of the CC & RCC; 2 Gay’s Manordeifi Sapphire Mist at Yagane, blue merle rather stockier than 1 & tends to soften in topline. Good sound mover out & back, decent headpiece; 3 Hutchings’ Collidach Molloney Fay Mouse. VB (2) 1 Evans’ Southcombe She’s The One, 9 years sable moving like a youngster, quality head, good overall shape, well bodied; 2 Burgess’ Lilymead Appanachi, tri in excellent shape & a few years younger, lovely head & expression, good bone & rib, just lost out in front movement to 1.
