V (3) 1 Evans’ Southcombe She’s The One, 9 years s/w bitch, lovely make & in good condition, sweetest head & expression, excellent fore & aft, well carried tail, moved correctly with spring in her gait. BV; 2 Purvey’s Norfield Silver Knight for Freejack, 7½ years b/m dog who pushed hard, well made with good bone & very neat feet, good head & expression but ears could be set a little tighter. Colour darkening with age, moved well & held his topline; 3 French’s Lilymead Amazing Grace. PD (3) 1 Gay’s Yagane Blue Mist, b/m, caught the eye as soon as he entered the ring, good size & so collected, beautifully balanced & schooled, colour excellent, clear blue with deep tan, good front & rear assembly, held topline, well carried tail throughout, nice eye & expression, ears still need to lift a smidgeon, very promising puppy. BP; 2 Baker’s Tomalca Stitch In Time, 10 months s/w, lovely type, just needs to gain confidence. Good coat & colour, nice head & expression, good legs & neat feet, very responsive to handler; 3 Denton’s Rycombe Jaffa Jake. JD (2) 1 Hayward’s Foxearth Flintab, 18 months b/m of blissful colour & markings, clear blue well broken, good head & expression, well angulated hind & front, held topline well, good bone, well developed forechest, tail carriage fine, another with very neat feet, moved comfortably around the ring as one would expect from his make, lovely prospect. RCC & RBOB; 2 Forbes’ Natalain Veni Vidi Vici at Willowhurst, 18 months s/w with lovely attitude & ring presence, nice head, good angulation, front pasterns still need to tighten. Lovely clear coat colour & condition. PGD (7) 1 N Veni Vidi Vici at W; 2 Purvey’s Freejack Midnight Dazzler, well balanced 5 years tri of really lovely make, good front & sound at rear, good height to length ratio, top class movement holding topline throughout. Heartbreakingly disinterested; 3 Cook’s Rycombe Duncan Disorderly at Kimbru. LD (3) French’s Foxearth Flock Master at Breckamore, well made 18 months tri of good colour, good bone & well angulated, powered round the ring with well held topline, nice head & expression, very attentive to his handler’s requests with well used ears, neat feet. Just needs a bit more control of his tail on the move; 2 Moores’ Manordeifi Shadow Chaser, tri who has come back into the ring extremely well but now needs to slim down just a tad. Ideal conformation with good balance, excellent legs & feet, good long tail, gentle expression, used ears well, well moulded foreface with strong underjaw; 3 Woodstock’s Shulune Imperial Guard at Hylaird. OD (3) 1 White’s Ch Foxearth Frappuccino, tri, maturing well, just loved his conformation & particularly his balance with everything in proportion & movement round the ring quite eyecatching, lovely neck, well developed forechest, excellent tail carriage, pleasing head & expression just completed the picture of a lovely working dog. CC, BOB & RBIS; 2 Forbes’ Ch Pelghart Paint It Black at Willowhurst, larger type tri of 7½ years, very well made & moved cleanly with well held topline & good tail carriage. Not quite the expression of 1; 3 Hutchings’ Collidach Molloney Ta Tu You.

PB (4) 1 Moores’ Tomalca Buttons ‘N’ Bows at Manordeifi, 10 months s/w still very raw but coming on well, nice head & expression, well angulated with good hind quarters, feet & tail carriage, very alert & showed off her qualities all the time. BPB; 2 Woodstock’s Kangasvuokon Valentine at Hylaird, 7 months s/w at her first show, really lovely type with good bone & feet, nice length to height ratio, very balance for age, really pretty head & expression with defined widow’s peak & ears well set & used. Only lack of experience let this lovely baby down; 3 Beeney’s Ryecombe Jolley Jonquil at Coneypark. JB (2) 1 Hayward’s Foxearth Finger Print, 14 months s/w, liked her body shape & conformation but expression not quite what I was looking for though used her ears well. Long neck into good shoulders, good bone & neat feet. Needs to gain a bit more confidence; 2 Purvey’s Westbridge Blue Fantasy by Frendet, quite dark b/m slightly on the leg at the moment but has lots of time. Nice angulation, good bone, really long tail carried well. PGB (5) 1 Moores’ Manordeifi Silver Dazzler, b/m, maturing well, of excellent colour, clear & well broken, lovely head & expression with well placed ears used constantly & well shaped eye, good legs & feet, very long tail, topline could be firmer but moved well round the ring. RCC; 2 Hayward’s Kiiramanna She Makes My Day at Foxearth, 14 months b/m with heavier markings, needs coat change to tighten jacket over shoulders. Good size, lovely bone & excellent balance, neat feet, liked her head & expression, attentive attitude to handler, very alert; 3 French’s Finnish Touch for Breckamore. LB (5) 1 Robinson’s Southcombe Summer Special at Dawcher, s/w, some maturing still to do but all the essentials there. Good head & expression, ears used to advantage, well angulated front & rear, good shoulder & upper arm, level topline on the move, went well but a little proud of her tail when moving, consistent with her lovely outgoing character, good picture; 2 Lister’s Manordeifi Miss Daisy at Newarp, tri, still needs to balance out, however very well made & schooled, good head & expression, ears need to tighten. Well moulded foreface with good underjaw, good legs & neat feet, moved well; 3 Sewell’s Foxearth Dressed To Frill. OB (5) 1 Neff’s High Tri Until, almost 6 years & colour darkening accordingly, but has kept her trim & when she concentrates this b/m bitch outmoves everyone, a true working gait which she could keep up for hours, really delighted to watch her move, sound & well angulated throughout with good balance & tail carriage, good head & expression & very attentive. CC; 2 Forbes’ Kangasvuokon Venice, s/w smaller make, colour nice & clear, well trained & very attentive. Head not quite so pleasing, went well; 3 Hutchings’ Collidach Molloney Fay Mouse.
