Show:Smooth Collies (no CC's): My thanks to the committee, stewards and
exhibitors for a lovely day and congratulations to the Committee on a well run
show under difficult circumstances with the loss of their original venue at
short notice. V (2) Two worthy Champions. 1 Griffiths, Ch Alopex Out of The
Blue. Feminine B/m bitch with lovely head properties, flat skull with well
filled foreface, correctly placed stop, nice dark eye and correct ear placement
giving the desired expression. Good turn of stifle, level topline, deep chest
with plenty of heart room, moved and showed well. 2 Lister's Ch Eridor I'm
Mister Blu at Newarp, well known Blue Dog, showing his age a little now however
covers the ground well, at one with his handler. P (1) 1 Moores, Tomalca Buttons
'n' Bows At Manordeifi. At just 6 Month old this Sable baby, was very much
enjoying her day out. Obviously still at the very raw stage but nice head with a
good dark well placed eye and lovely ear carriage. Settled really well later in
the day to take RBPIS, Congratulations. PG (3, 2) 1 Moores Manordeifi Silver
Dazzler. Lovely Blue Merle bitch of the most beautiful colour. Good head with
well moulded foreface, flat skull, correctly placed stop and beautiful dark eye.
Well sprung ribs, good front with good shoulder placement. Nice ears which she
used reasonably well. Sadly unsettled and moved somewhat erratically which cost
her in the challenge. L (3, 1) Two lovely Bitches. 1 Sewell's Foxearth Dressed
To Frill. Full sister to my eventual BOB. Quality Tri with a clean head, the
most lovely dark eye giving a gorgeous expression. Good reach of neck, good
front, excellent shoulder placement and angulation. Interestingly with a change
of usual handler today, she seemed much more relaxed and showed none stop,
pushed hard for BOB. On this form her title can't be far away. Delighted to
award her BB, Res BOB, well done. 2 Lister's Manordeifi Miss Daisy At Newarp.
Beautifully made Tri bitch with fabulous reach of neck and outline. Correct
shaped eye though could be darker, lovely foreface, correctly placed stop and
good back skull. Low set ears spoil her expression. Moved and showed really
well. OD (3,2) 1 White's Ch Foxearth Frappuccino. I have admired this handsome
male from the ringside many times and was not disappointed on going over him.
Cleanest of heads, beautifully balanced yet no mistaking his gender. Beautiful
well placed dark eye and correctly placed ears, though not using them to
advantage in the challenge, due to the very noisy hall, however he did just
enough for me. Plenty of bone with lovely body shape. Well muscled second thigh,
good topline, shown in first class condition. Out moved all others today showing
excellent reach at a sensible pace. Well deserved BOB and delighted to watch him
much more settled and showing himself to full advantage later in the day to take
RBIS Congratulations. OB (3,3) 1 Benton's. Alopex Marionette Of Oakestelle.
Lovely coloured Blue. Nice expression but a little full in eye for me. Really
nice shape overall with good reach of neck. Would just like more of her. Moved
and handled well, very much in tune with her handler. 2. Griffiths. Alopex
Little Summer. Very pretty sable with very nice head and body shape. Ears a tad
low set. Good angulation and moved well.
