VD(1) 1 Lister's Ch Eridor
Im Mr Blu At Newarp (Imp Aus). Lovely head and expressive eyes, a touch thick
in neck now and underline rather too deep. He is very good moving and has such
a firm topline, nicely angulated and super tail set and carriage.
PD(2) 1 Forbes &Forbes' Natalain Vidi Vici At Willowhurst (Imp Rus).
Two nice puppies. Winner super in head and expression, neat ears, set well up
and tipped over nicely, fair front, good ribbing carried well back, excellent
quarters and tail, good hard coat, moved out well and smoothly. 2 French's
Foxearth Flock Master For Breckamore. Very fit and hard in condition, a bit
deep through in back skull and ears set too wide apart and not tipped over
enough, excellent typical Collie front, well bodied firm backline and super
quarters, well handled to ge the best out of him.
JD(3) 1 French's Foxearth Flock Master For Breckamore. 2
Gidding's Ryecombe Discovered Gold A nice dog for
size and proportions, clean head, good neck, ok in front, not as hard in topline as winner, ok in rear, lovely hard coat, well set tail, good head
planes and eye placement, ears set a little too low. 3 Leach's Manordeifi
Dionysus At Hilltarn.
GD(1) 1 Leach's Manordeifi Dionysus At Hilltarn. Good merle, looked
good standing but not as fit as he could be and he needs a little more weight
and spring of rib, good proportions of height to length, sound legs and tight
oval pads.
PGD (2) 1 Leach's Manordeifi Dionysus At Hilltarn. 2 Howe's Dawcher
Dawn's Sunrise. Tall and rather straight behind, needs more neck and a lower
set of tail, good legs and feet, fair head, sound mover.
LD (2, 1) 1 and Res CC, Moores' Manordeifi Storm Breaker. Sound mover
and he has a typical Collie action in profile. Liked his head and head planes,
ok in front, firm backline, sound quarters, a bit more tuck up would improve as
he looked a bit too heavy through the waist.
OD (4, 2) 1 and CC, Hutchings' Collidach Molloney Ta Tu You. Lovely
mover and although he stands overwide in front he does not move that way, good
head and eyes but ears set too low, well made and nicely muscled, correct
topline and rear, well carried tail. Won the CC on his flowing side gait. 2
Norman &Ratcliffe's Easy Listening At Seanua. Looked worried and rather crept
round the ring, not holding his topline either, super head and better ears than
winner, deep chest, ok in rear and carried his tail down nicely.
VB (1) 1 Coates' Starlight Spirit At Pencloda. Ears a little uneven,
good length to foreface, well splashed merle, very good mover for her age but
she has lost her tuck-up, good legs and feet and such a happy personality!
PB(2) 1 Rice's Kevranna Theras Enate Echo. Gorgeous head, eyes and
sweet expression, sound front, a touch long cast and her topline needs to
strengthen, excellent quarters and tail set, moved well, just a bit 'bouncy'. 2
French's Finnish Touch For Breckamore. Lower set and carriage of ears spoilt
her expression and she too was soft in topline, she was very hard and well
muscled, deep enough in body and a good deep colour, hope her backline hardens
up and she is a lovely bitch.
JB(2) 1 CC and BOB, Lister's Manordeifi Miss Daisy At Newarp. Typy and
looks ok stood for balance and keeps her topline moving too! Good head, ears a
bit low set, enough neck for elegance, strong legs and feet, shows well and has
excellent quarters. 2 Moores' Manordeifi Silver Dazzler. Feminine and well
marked, her front is not her fortune and feet rather open and splayed, enough
rear angulation, pleasing head and ears, not moving well in front or profile.
GB(2) 1 Beeney's Kingrock Bathsheba At Coneypark. Top class bitch,
super head and head planed are parallel, well set ears, tipped over well,
excellent front and forechest, good body and couplings, super rear, maybe needs
a little more time to mature further but I thought her very impressive for her
age of 18 mths. 2 Moores' Manordeifi Silver Dazzler.
PGB (3) 1 Lister's Manordeifi Miss Daisy At Newarp. 2 Robinson's
Southcombe Summer Special At Dawcher. Lovely head, sweet expressive eyes, soft
topline which shows up both standing and moving, ok in front and rear angles,
good hard coat, well coupled, fair mover. 3 Moores' Manordeifi Silver Dazzler.
LB(3, 1) 1 Sewell's Foxearth Dressed To Frill. Two nice feminine
bitches. Winner pleasing head and expression, neat ears set well, ok in front,
a bit soft in pasterns and feet, well bodied, good quarters, well set tail,
shows nicely keeping a good firm backline. 2 Coates' Alopex Blue Moon. A little
lighter in bone and not the clean head of winner, she is very true and precise
on the move, has a good ribcage and firm back, maybe could do with a little
more length of foreleg for her body type and length.
OB(4, 1) 1 and Res CC, Giddings' All That Jazz At Ryecombe. Good for
head and neck, hard and very fit all through, ok for proportions of height to
length, brown showing through her black coat too much, excellent topline and
tail and a grand mover. 2 Hutchings' Collidach Molloney Fay Mouse. Neat and
very true moving, not the elegant neckline of above but nicely made, super
quarters and she really drives off those hocks, fit and sound, she is a quality
bitch. 3 Moores' Manordeifi Silvadora.
