Never a big entry but what they lacked in numbers they made up for in quality.
PD 1 CC & BP, White’s Foxearth Frappuccino, tri dog, took my eye from the start, for his outstanding neck & body shape, his head is beautifully balanced, correct in muzzle & chin he has a clean stop & a lovely eye & expression, ears well set & used, in super condition & so well presented, really came into his own on the move as he strode round the ring. I am sure this will be the first of many; 2 Howe’s Dawcher Dawns Sunrise, very attractive sable with a good well balanced length of head with a pleasing eye & expression well placed & used ears, he has a good neck & body shape, plenty of bone & sound on the move, in good body & will mature well. PGD 1 West’s Alopex Oysterman, pleasing type of tri, good head type & shows well, I like his neck & body shape & he was sound on the move. Could carry a little more body to advantage. LD 1 Winter & Unwin’s Rowvale River Of Fortune at Snowtrekka, a very attractive blue of good colour with a lovely neck & outline, very pleasing head, eye & expression, in good tight coat & condition & moved well & showed to make the most of his virtues; 2 West’s Alopex Oysterman. OD 1 Griffiths’ Alopex Matt Finnish, this tri has long been a favourite of mine, appeals in head type eye & expression. Not the easiest dog to show but when he uses his ears has a lovely expression. Good neck & body shape & a sound easy mover, as always well presented & shown. Unlucky to meet the puppy in such good form. RCC: 2 Fort’s Foxearth Forward Thinking for McClelland, sable with a very good neck & body shape in excellent condition, has a very pleasing head with a good expression & was a sound mover. Just a little happy with his tail very well presented & shown.
PB & PGB (0). LB 1 French & Hayward’s Foxearth Sticky Fingers, sable bitch of beautiful type, lovely head, eye & expression & she excels in neck & body shape & was in good condition, moved so well & did just enough to win this class. Could go all the way to the top if she relaxed a little more; 2 Griffiths’ Alopex Little Summer, sable bitch of such a lovely type, her head handles so well & has a lovely neck & body shape, moved & showed so well & in such great condition; 3 Niff’s Hightri Until. OB 1 Fort’s Ch Shulune Imperial Legacy, top class sable, stood out for balance, neck & body shape, head is beautiful to go over, well filled muzzle, good underjaw, clean stop & correct eye & expression, well placed & used ears, good bone, legs & feet, looked a picture as she moved round the ring so sound, so well presented. CC & BOB; 2 French’s Lilymead Amazing Grace, blue of a lovely colour, has matured so well since I judged her as a puppy, head is so good, just right for muzzle, stop, eye & expression, ears on top showing so well, I liked her neck & outline, she was in lovely tight coat & condition & moved soundly, I feel could gain her title if campaigned.
