PD (1) 1 White’s Foxearth Frappuccino, really lovely 11 month tri of good size, very sound coming & going, good layback of shoulder which gives good extension which so many lacked. Pleasing head, correct eye shape. He was just what I was looking for. CC, BOB & BP. JD (1) 1 Howe’s Dawcher Dawn’s Sunrise, s/w, just over a year old. I would prefer him to be smaller & he carried his tail too high. Loved what he was doing. PGD (3) 1 Moores’ Manordeifi Shadow Chaser, good size & shape, nice in profile movement, in good condition. Would prefer a clean head. Showed well; 2 Page’s Norfield Oh What A Knight, lots to like but does not excel in head & front. Good bend of stifle & tight jacket, good shower. LD (4) 1 Hutchings’ Collidach Molloney Ta Tu You, good coming & going, great short loin which gave him the correct proportions. Would prefer a better ear set. RBD & RCC; 2 Williams’ Foxearth Forward Thinking for McClelland, sable I also liked but did not have the balance & shape of 1; 3 Moores’ Manordeifi Storm Breaker. OD (1) 1 Forbes’ Ch/Int/Ir Ch Pelghart Paint It Black at Willowhurst, since I last judged him I feel he has become a little too heavy in his head but he was in great condition & a real showman. Would prefer better layback of shoulder. GCD (1) 1 N Oh What A Knight.
PB (1)A. JB (1) 1 Foreman’s Cownbred Frosted Rose, unfortunately found this young lady difficult to assess on the move as continuously paced. Would prefer her to be small & have a more pleasing head. PGB (4) 1 Edwards’ Cownbred Rambling Rose, nice size & moved well. Was not a real showgirl however I saw enough to place her 1st; 2 Moores’ Manordeifi Silver Sparkle, a little overweight so spoilt her overall picture. Nice rear, excellent muscle; 3 Benton’s Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle. LB (4) 1 Hartley’s Foxearth Silver Dream at Jimjack, overall had a nice shape but would prefer better layback of shoulder. Good colour but does not use herself too well. RBB; 2 French & Hayward’s Foxearth Sticky Fingers, liked this bitch but her confidence really let her down. Looks like she has most things there, just such a shame her handler was rushing; 3 Neff’s Hightri Until. OB (3) 1 Norman & Ratcliffe’s Ch Foxearth Fashioned In Black, a real showgirl but she does not have the firmest of toplines & also felt she could do with a better layback of shoulder. At the time I judged her in my opinion was favouring one of her front legs so unable to award her the CC. BB; 2 Gay’s Manordeifi Sapphire Mist at Yagane, OK bitch, showed well.
