PD (1) 1 Hill’s Devern Denman, good sized tri puppy of 7½ months who does need to mature. Correct placement of eye, nicely tipped ears, good length of neck, back & tail, enough bone. Moved reasonably well though has to strengthen up behind. Needs to learn to settle down in the ring but showed enough. JD (0). PGD (2) 1 RBD, Woodstock’s Shulune Imperial Guard at Hylaird, nice sized s/w with plenty of substance & bone, well placed eye, nicely tipped ears & had a lovely expression, though would prefer slightly less width in backskull. Correct bite, good length of level back held on the move, nice curve of stifle, legs parallel both in front & at the rear, moved well. Despite the odd distraction showed well; 2 Russell’s Foxearth Fashion Guru. LD (2) 1 BD, Woodstock’s Shulune Imperial Warrior at Hylaird, very nicely conformed s/w, well moulded clean head, correct bite, super well placed tipped ears, correct eye & stop, adding up to a lovely expression, very well laid back shoulder, good length of back which was level & held firmly on the move, nice bend of stifle, good strong bone, depth of chest & spring of rib, sound & positive mover, tracked well & good showman; 2 Trundley’s Juniperwood King Of Kings. OD (0).

PB (3) 1 BP, Trundley’s Juniperwood Joyful, very pretty & feminine s/w 7½ months bitch, though still small, she was very well balanced head to body & in her general proportions. Clean well moulded head for one so young, correctly placed ears & when showing nicely tipped, good length of neck, angulation & length of tail, had the right amount of bone, nice spring of rib & depth of chest, level back & pleasing outline. Was a little fidgety but moved & showed well enough; 2 J Jubilation; 3 Hill’s Cascade Of Stars. JB & PGB (0). LB (3) 1 Cook’s Foxearth Londer Leone, 5 years s/w, good all over body shape & balanced proportions, excellent head pattern, having nicely placed & tipped ears which unfortunately she was reluctant to use consistently. Good bone, length of back, lovely lay of shoulder & bend of stifle, though stood a little wider than I prefer in front. Seemed unsettled which affected her showing & movement. OB (2) Only two in this class but both quality bitches though of different types, & it was a close decision. 1 BOB, Hill’s Devern Fate A Compli, athletic 6½ years tri, nice sized, well balanced, alert & happy temperament & who gave the appearance of stamina, correct head, in proportion to body with well placed eye & ears, super length of neck & back held firm on the move, excellent lay of shoulder & bend of stifle, good bone, depth of chest & spring of rib, moved out soundly & positively on strong parallel legs, her movement was the deciding factor for her win, showed very well; 2 Hartley’s Foxearth Silver Dream at Jimjack, b/m, very pretty bitch, beautiful blue in colour who I have seen & admired before, has most of the same attributes as 1, though on a smaller scale. However, she seemed to be a little below par, lacking her usual sparkle & energy which affected her movement & stance though she did use her ears beautifully when showing. Breeder Mr & Mrs B Trundley Juniperwood.
