I was delighted to be judging at this extremely well organised show. The venue and atmosphere was very good and I would like to thank the committee and my two very efficient stewards who worked hard with great humour. I should also like to thank the exhibitors for presenting the dogs in such good condition and I was delighted by the overall standard of the breed. My one concern is the lack of angulation of the upper arm which results in a weakness in front and unbalanced movement. The temperaments of all the exhibits, without exception was outstanding. I was delighted to see my BOB awarded BIS and my BP awarded BPIS.

SMOOTH COLLIE PD (2) 1 Moore's Manordeifi Shadow Chaser BP, Res CC, BPIS Very impressive Tri with a classic outline. Loved everything about him. Masculine well balanced head, alert expression, nicely carried ears, superb arched neck set into well laid shoulders. Good front, deep chest, well sprung ribs, correct smooth topline, coat of correct texture, well muscled rear. Moved effortlessly, extending in front and with power from the rear. Certainly has the wow factor! 2 Hutchings' Collidach Molloney Ta Tu You Well conformed Tri. Slower to mature than 1 but very promising. Well made throughout. Nice head, with alert expression but ears appear a little low set at the moment. Good length of neck, well angulated shoulder, needs to broaden and deepen in chest, but this should come in time. Correct topline and coat texture. Moved truly on good legs and feet.

PGD (3,1) 1 Woodstock's Shulune Imperial Warrior at Hylaird Nicely headed S/W with lovely ears, eye and expression. Super neck, good shoulders, deep chest and correct topline. Moved well on good legs and tight feet. Very well presented. 2 Evan's Southcombe Starman B/M with nice head, ears and alert expression. Strong neck set into good shoulders. Correct coat texture and good topline. Would benefit from having a better turn of stifle and tighter feet.

LD (6,1) 1 Trundley's Juniperwood King of Kings Stunning looking Tri with outstanding front and shoulder. Most lovely head, dark eye and alert expression, but refused to use his ears! Lovely length of neck set into the best of shoulders, deep chest, super jacket of perfect texture. Well presented. It was a real heartbreak that the movement and showmanship did not match the quality of the conformation. 2 McKenna and Bardill's Macgee's Street Spirit at Plaisance IMP Very smart Tri, well conformed throughout. Super head, correct balance, alert expression and good ears. Well angulated shoulder, deep chest, tight feet, well presented, but lacked any power from the rear when moving. 3 Woodstock's Shulune Imperial Guard at Hylaird

OD (2,1) 1 Hayward's Ch Sandcastle's True Topic (Imp Fin) CC, BOB, BIS Tri with well balanced head, nicely shaped eye, sweet expression and ears, that he used well. Excellent neck set into correctly angulated shoulders. Deep brisket, correct topline. Presented a stunning picture standing and moved as his conformation suggests.

VB (1) 1 Moore's Manordeifi Silver Dawn JW Impressively conformed B/M. Super head, eye and ears but let down by lack of expression. Lovely arched neck, correct topline, coat of good texture, well angulated front and rear. Chest of good width and depth. Moved very well.

PB (4) 1 Hutchings' Collidach Molloney Fay Mouse Ultra feminine with a beautiful head, eye and expression. Superb length of neck, good shoulders and front, deep chest, coat of good texture and colour. Moved effortlessly and smoothly on good legs and tight feet. The perfect outline, conformation and movement should ensure a very bright future for this young lady! 2 Moore's Manordeifi Silver Sparkle Correct head, eye and ears. Nicely made throughout with good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, but would prefer better angulation to upper arm, which was reflected in her movement. Coat of excellent texture, but colour needs to clear. 3 Moore's Manordeifi Sapphire Dawn

JB (4,1) 1 Norman and Ratcliffe's Foxearth Fashioned in Black The stunning outline of this immaculately presented Tri immediate caught my attention and interest. Very feminine head of correct pattern and set off with alert ears that she used all the time and eyes that had the desired alert expression. Superb arched neck set into well angulated shoulders, deep chest, lovely sweeping topline, well angulated rear. Gleaming coat of correct texture completed the picture. Movement was a joy to behold being smooth, powerful and effortless. I was delighted to award her what should be the first of many CCs 2 Coate's Alopex Blue Moon B/M with coat of good colour and texture. Nice head and expression, arched neck, deep chest, well sprung ribs. Good legs and feet. Would prefer better shoulder angulation which affected the movement both front and rear. 3 Benton's Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle

PGB (3) 1 Purney Freejack a Touch of Magic Well conformed B/M with coat of lovely colour and correct texture. Super head, eye and expression. Deep chest, well angulated front and rear which all helped to produce free, positive and powerful movement. Topline needs to tighten. 2 Giddingss' All That Jazz at Ryecombe Tri with lovely gleaming jacket of good texture. Nice head, and pleasing topline. Deep chest but would prefer more angulation to shoulder and upper arm. Movement was ok, but without any real power. 3 Lusty's Juniperwood Dream Maker

LB (6,2) 1 Hartley's Foxearth Silver Dream at Jimjack Res CC Very attractive BM with great style and a beautiful outline. Well handled and presented to show off her many virtues. Lovely head and sweet yet alert expression, correctly carried ears, neck of good length set into well angulated shoulders. Correct topline, deep chest and jacket of lovely colour and texture. Moved freely with power from the rear. 2 Trundley's Juniperwood Final Affair Could have won this class, but like her brother she let herself down by refusing to use her ears and by poor movement. She is a beautiful tri who oozes quality. Lovely head, dark eye and sweet expression, arched neck, wonderful well angulated shoulders and deep chest, superb shining jet black jacket of perfect texture. I can only judge what is presented before me on the day. 3 Coates' Starlight Spirit at Pencloda

OB (3) 1 Gay's Manordeifi Sapphire Mist at Yagane Wonderful shoulder and rear angulation set this very smart lady above the others. B/M with excellent coat texture, but the colour is not her fortune. Well balanced head of good pattern, deep chest, exemplary shoulder angulations, well bent stifles, good legs and feet. Moved very well. 2 Giddings' Foxearth Gold Filligree Very smart S/W. Nice head and expression, dark eye, good length of neck, correct topline. Front assembly could be better and rear movement was not good on the day. 3 Purney's Chicnoir Lil's Little Love via Snuggletooth
