An interesting entry to judge with some very good quality exhibits.

PD (3,2a) 1 Hyde’s Londer Every Breath I Take, s/w, only 6 months & unfortunately was alone & so rather in awe of the occasion, good neck. Well bodied, nice over the haunches & thighs, in good coat & condition. I hope he will learn to enjoy showing as he shows promise. JD (4,1) 1 Hutchings’ Collidach Molloney Ta Tu You, very good tri, very expressive & made the most of himself standing & moving, good neck, shoulders, topline & hindquarters, nice bone, legs & feet, well bodied, particularly good movement. RCC to his sire; 2 Williams’ Foxearth Forward Thinking for McClelland, s/w of nice size & balance, good outline, well developed thighs, in great condition. 1 was the more positive mover & I just preferred him in head though this one had a good finish to his foreface with particularly good teeth; 3 Moore’s Manordeifi Shadow Chaser. PGD (4) 1 Hayward’s Foxearth Felix Cited, shaded s/w who is litter brother to 2nd in JD, very good shoulders & front, good bone, legs & feet, nice strength in hindquarters, nice for general balance. Could be a little firmer in topline; 2 Page’s Norfield Oh What A Knight, taller s/w, nice neck, shoulders & topline. Can strengthen a little in front & second thighs but moved out well; 3 Evans’ Southcombe Starman. LD (6,1) 1 McKenna & Bardil’s Magees Street Spirit at Plaisance, well grown tri, good head & eyes, neat well carried ears, pleasing front, bone, legs & feet, well bodied, nice outline, good thighs & well let down; 2 French’s Devern First Prime, pleasing s/w, good body, brisket & limbs, shapely, nice over the haunches, nice tail, in good condition; 3 Fulwood’s Darsign Blue Minstral. OD (3) 1 Hayward’s Ch Sandcastle’s True Topic, lovely quality tri, very good head, eyes & ears, good neck, shoulders & outline, well made hindquarters, nice bone, legs & feet, moved & showed well. CC & BOB; 2 Griffiths’ Alopex Matt Finnish, not the outgoing temperament of 1. Completely sound & moved & showed appropriately, pleasing head & eyes, nice neck & shoulders, good outline. I would like a touch better bone; 3 Forbes’ Ch Pelghart Paint It Black at Willowhu. GCD (3) 1 Winter & Unwin’s Sturtmoor Alexavier Odessy at Snowtrekka, well grown tri, good head & expression, pleasing body & shape, good limbs, moved & showed well; 2 N Oh What A Knight; 3 Purvey’s Freejack Royal Knight.

VB (3,2) 1 Hyde’s Foxearth Fondant, beautiful 9 years s/w, very good head, pleasing eyes & ears, well bodied, in lovely coat condition, moved & showed well, pushed all the way for a top award. PB (1) 1 Fulwood’s Westbridge Colour Me Silver, attractive outgoing merle, well grown but feminine, shapely, promising in head with nice expression. BP. JB (4,2) 1 Norman & Ratcliffe’s Foxearth Fashioned In Black, excellent tri, pleasing head, good shoulders, nice topline, well made hindquarters, very good bone, legs & feet, well bodied, good coat; 2 Baker’s Manordeifi Satin ‘N’ Lace at Tomalca, lovely tri, 2 months younger than 1 & less mature but I also liked her very much & thought her very promising, made on quality lines, good eyes & ears. PGB (5,1w/d) 1 Benton’s Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle, attractive feminine merle, very good head & eyes, pleasing neck, shoulders & outline; 2 French & Hayward’s Foxearth Sticky Fingers, s/w who scored in body & depth & had a pleasing head but was rather lazy in ears & could be that little firmer in hindquarters; 3 Coates’ Alopex Blue Moon. LB (7,1) 1 Williams’ Shulune Imperial Moonlite at McClelland, feminine s/w, good neck, shoulders & outline, nice turn of hindquarters, good head, eye & ears, moved & showed well; 2 McKenna & Bardill’s Shulune Imperial Flower of Plaisance, s/w who had a little more substance & I liked her bone, depth, body & rib, typical head. 1 & 2 are litter sisters & I liked them both very much, 1 scored in second thigh; 3 Purvey’s Freejack Oh Mi Mi. OB (8,2) 1 Fort’s Shulune Imperial Legacy, well balanced s/w, pleasing head, good eyes & ears, good neck, shoulders & outline, nice forehand & hindquarters, good tail, moved & showed well. CC; 2 Gay’s Manordeifi Sapphire Mist at Yagane, very well made, sound moving merle. I would like clearer colours but she had everything else to please me. Typical head, well placed eyes, well bodied, good strong thighs. RCC; 3 Hills’ Devern Fate A Compli.
