National Dog Show

PD (4) I say at the outset this class with 4 good young males must have a good future prospect for this lovely breed, for the winner I selected Hayward’s, Foxearth Felix Cited, he is quite lovely with the best of head patterns, muzzle, stop, back skull, mouth, bite and under jaw all correct, he has a great body shape developing legs and feet are good his sable and white coat was in perfect condition a real eye catcher this one, I will watch his progress with more than a passing interest. 2 Moores Manordeifi Shadow Chaser, a gain an outstanding puppy, 8 moth old a tri colour in perfect condition, he is a nice size lovely to handle, head is correct, eyes in particular are very pleasing, he moves well with a good rear drive, I liked these two outstanding males a good start to my day thank you. 3 Woodstock’s Shulune Imperial Guard at Hylaird. 

JD (1) 1 Norman & Ratcliffe Easy Listening at Seanu, a 18 month old sable and white in tip top condition he is a good sound balanced size, lovely legs and feet, nice overall body make and shape he has a good head with eyes and ears used to give the required expression, on his own in the class but a worthy winner. 

PGD (4) 1 French’s, Devern’ , First Prime, a 22 month old sable and white who has the correct balanced size lovely out lint legs feet chest room and over all size are very sound he moves with very good front and rear extension and drive he has the correct required breed type head a very good sound example. 2 Evans Southcombe Starman, a 2 year old blue merle with a lot to like about him he has a very good coat with the correct blue colour tan markings and mottling are good he has a nice breed head pattern very sound on the move. 3 Page’s Norfield Oh What a Knight.

LD (2,1a) 1 Mckenna & Bardill’s Macgees Street Spirt at Plaisance (IMP), a very sound true moving 22 month old tri colour best of breed type heads he has a good body shape reach of neck top line loin and croup are very good, good legs and feet coat was in good condition correct jet black with nice tan and white markings.

OD 1st & the dog CC winner & Best of Breed was Hayward’s Champion Sandcastles True Topic (IMP FIN), a quite wonderful up standing tri colour male, his out line is very good reach of neck top line loin and croup are very sound he has a great front construction good upper arm and shoulder rear quarters are sound he has a great breed type head pattern his movement is out stingingly good with front extension and rear drive to a very high standard, he is in tip top condition, I consider him to be a grand ambassador of the breed well done. 2nd & the reserve dog CC winner was Griffiths Alopex Matt Finnish, a 3 year old tri colour male who pleased in every quarter, head pattern is lovely giving a great male breed type expression he has a lovely sound body shape his temperament is very good he moves very soundly I liked his tri colour coat and condition, I had two very, very good breed examples here in this class. 3 Winter & Unwin’s Sturtmoor Alexavier Odessy at Snowtrekka SHCM. Dog CC:Champion Sandcastles True Topic. Reserve dog CC:Alopex Matt Finnish.

PB (8,2), 1st Best Puppy in breed & the reserve bitch CC winner was Norman & Ratcliffe s, Foxearth Fashioned in Black, I loved this young tri colour bitch head is quite outstanding eyes and ears good she has a great temperament a nice body make and shape lovely bone structure her coat is the correct colour jet black with good tan and white markings movement was very good a lovely collie from any angle. 2 Fort’s Shulune Imperial Legacy a nice 11 month old tri colour good size well balance bitch handled and moved well I had two good young bitches here I will watch them both with interest. 3 Backer’s Manordeifi Satin N Silk at Tomalca.

JB (3,1a) 1 Griffiths, Alopex Little Summer a good sound sable & white bitch with all the correct breed requirements, in lovely condition she was very sound on the move has a very pleasing breed type head a good example this one. 2 Benton’s Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle,a blue merle bitch who has a good head eyes and ears are good this bitch has a nice outline and moved well.

PGB (2) 1 Williams, Shulune Imperial Moonlite at Mcclelland, I liked this very sound sable and white bitch a lot she has lovely balance both standing and on the move her reach of neck top line loin and croup are very good a lovely tail set and carriage a good head giving the required true expression. 2 Trundley’s Juniperwood Final Affair, a good bitch moved well she has a good temperament a very pleasing breed type head pattern again two good bitches here.

LB (5) This was a good class, 1st was Moores Manordeifi Silvadora, this blue merle bitch has a great head pattern muzzle stop back skull eyes and ears are first class her size make and shape are very sound, good legs and feet pasterns good and flexible, her coat colour is a little on the dark side but an excellent example of the breed. 2 French’s Lilymead Amazing Grace, a 4 year old blue merle bitch a good upstanding very sound moving bitch with a good temperament, lovely to handle her head is good very pleasing eyes and ears, coat colour and texture are very good. 3 Neff’s Hightri Until.

OB (4,1a) 1st & the bitch CC winner was Giddings Foxearth Gold Filligree a sable and white with a lovely feminine expression coming from the correct balance of head properties, lovely angulations front is lovely nice chest room legs and feet are good nice flexible pasterns she has a great temperament it was a pleaser to see her on the move, a lovely bitch from every angle I learned later that this award is her 2nd CC I am sure the 3rd will follow. 2 Hayward’s Ch Sandcastles as You Like it at Foxearth a lovely blue merle champion of the breed in lovely coat condition best of colours head is good a nice balanced size movement was very sound. 3 Hartley’s Foxeath Silver Dream at Jimjack. Bitch CC winner was,Foxeath Gold Filligree. Reserve bitch CC winner was, Foxearth Fashioned in Black. Best of breed was, Champion Sandcastles True Topic (IMP FIN). Best puppy in breed was, Foxearth Fashioned in Black.
