PELGHART PAINT IT BLACK AT WILLOWHURST (MRS D A & MISS F L FORBES)

PD (2) 1 Wallis Freejack First Knight at Norfield. well grown tri, length to head with excellent plains, ears quite mobile but enhancing expression when used correctly, minimal stop, clean through the cheeks, tidy elbows with good straight forelimbs down to neat feet, clean in neck with depth to brisket, firm loin with slight rise, good lay of croup and tailset, just enough second thigh, moves very true coming and going, BP. 2 Griffiths Alopex Matt Finish. of a handy size, scored in eye and neater ear, slightly shorter backed with firm loin and well muscled quarters, free moving.

JD (1) 1 Wallis Freejack First Knight at Norfield.

LD (3,1) 1 Wallis Norfield Soul Mate. s/w shown in firm muscular condition, length to head with fairly large ears well placed and used to advantage, head is balanced with decent plains and little stop, clean and quite shallow through with respectable underjaw, super dark eye of excellent shape set obliquely, straight front with firm elbows, clean neck and shoulder, depth to brisket, enough spring to ribs, decent topline and lay of croup but can be a touch exuberant with his tail on the move, well developed hindquarters and sound action. 2 Trundleys Lilymead Agamemnon. b/m with balanced headpiece but not quite the appeal of 1 for me, expressive eyes well placed, adequate stop, very well ribbed up infact would benefit from losing some weight as this detracted from his overall outline, still a fairly respectable mover.

OD (3,1) 1 Listers Eridor Im Mr Blu at Newarp. very much the complete package, well balanced with sufficient length from ribbing, balanced head with good plains, flat skull and slight stop, neat well placed and used ears, wall eyed both of good colour and shape, mature in body and sound in hindquarters, moves very soundly but could be a touch more animated, BOB.   2 Forbes Pelghart Paint It Black at Willowhurst. slightly larger tri with much appeal, presents a very clean outline with length to head and ears well placed, slight stop, not too deep through but sufficient underjaw, clean neck to straight forelimbs, well ribbed and carried back, firm loin, good second thigh, still to steady a touch on the move, RBD.

PB (1) 1 Naylors Freejack Sweet Magic. tri, balanced head of fair length with decent plains, ears still to settle, eyes of good shape, clean in muzzle, clean front with firm elbows, spring of rib sufficient for age, good topline with slight rise over loin, slope to croup giving good tailset and carriage, hindquarters to suit, fairly tidy mover.

JB (1) 1 Naylors Freejack Sweet Magic.

PGB (2) 1 Griffiths Alopex Out Of The Blue. B/m, feminine all round with head and properties to suit, ribs have fair length but needs to fill out and gain some bodyweight, very typical in topline and tailset and moves very easily and in a respectable fashion, BB. 2 Trundleys Lilymead Alisa. another b/m but this one carrying too much weight and not very active on the move, fairly attractive head with dark brown eyes of good shape and placement, RBB.
