On the whole presentation was good, teeth and toe nails well cared for. Thrilled with my BOB. Foxearth Farris via Lewarne who went BIS. PD (4) 1 Purvey’s, Freejack Royal Knight. 6 months old b/m soundly constructed and well muscled. Head balanced with neat ears and happy disposition. Bouncy! BP. 2 Moore’s, Manordeifi Storm Breaker. Tri. Head handles well with dark expressive eyes. Ears a little heavy. Well developed body with long tail, well set. Moved energetically. 3 Wallis’s, Freejack First Knight at Norfield. JD (3) 1 Forbes’s, Pelghart Paint it Black at Willowhurst. Tri in good condition with correct coat. Balanced head with correctly placed ears. Reachy neck, well ribbed body. Moved soundly from the rear. 2 Purvey’s, Freejack Royal Knight. 3 Winter and Unwin’s, Sturtmoor Odessy at Snowtrekka. PGD (3) 1 MacGregor’s, Rowvale River Gambler. Tri with excellent head properties. Clean cheeks, dark eyes, soulful expression. Nicely crested neck, straight back. Correct front. Well angulated stifle. Long tail. Moved effortlessly. 2 Clarks’, Astrellita Dr Dray. Tri. Honest Smooth fits the standard but doesn’t sparkle. Steady mover but not so positive as winner. 3 Sewell’s, Foxearth Flintoff for Lewerne. LD (6) 1 Lister’s, Eridor Im Mr Blue at Newarp. Upstanding male of good well broken blue. Clean head with good underjaw. Would like a bit more stop. Powerful body with decent reach of neck. Correct height to length ratio. Moved with drive, true coming and going. 2 Purvey’s, Freejack the Highlander. Tri smaller than winner but typy. Pleasing head pattern with dark eyes, neat ears which he used. Body well proportioned in good coat and condition. Moved soundly. 3 Forbes’s, Pelghart Pied Piper of Willowhurst. OD (5) Excellent class, all exhibits could win, splitting hairs for places on the day. 1 Evans’s, Ch. Manordeifi Smart Guy at Southcombe. Handsome s/w male. Strong head without any coarseness, dark expressive eyes and super ear carriage. Well made body. Straight front legs and powerful quarters. Moved with good stride and drive from rear. CC. 2 Norman and Ratcliffe’s, Ch. Foxearth Blue Jeans Forever. B/m I’ve admired from the ringside. A worthy Champion. Came up to scratch in quality of head, construction, soundness and movement. My concern is he is entire but only just. Even so deserved RCC. 3 Griffiths’s, Ch. Alopex Highland Fling. PB (4) 1 Moore’s, Manordeifi Silvadora. B/m full of character and energy. Head appealing with expressive eyes and mobile ears although carried a bit low. Body developing along the right lines, would like a slightly tighter jacket. Moved exuberantly. 2 Hayward’s, Londer Frizante at Foxearth. Thought she would be my winner. Feminine bitch of clear well broken blue of correct texture. Sweet head and expression. Body not big but sufficient bone. Straight front legs. Supple hindquarters. Movement difficult to assess because she did not co-operate with her handler. However, one to watch. 3 Purvey’s, Freejack a Touch of Magic. JB (3) 1 Griffith’s, Alopex Out of the Blue. Pretty b/m of good colour. Jewelled eyes enhanced sweet expression, ears correctly tipped and well set. Lean head nicely proportioned. Stream lined body built for light, floating movement. Needs to tighten in front. 2 Freejack a Touch of Magic. Little cutie, needs to grow in and gain confidence but time is on her side. Has potential. PGB (5) 1 Robinson’s, Dawcher Dream Searcher. Tri. Striking outline in profile. Carries her attractive head on long neck. Correct front, level back which she held on the move with plenty of drive from the rear. RCC. 2 Burgess’s, Lilymead Appanchi. Another typy tri in good condition. Just preferred expression of winner. Should have a good future. 3 Macgregor’s, Rowvale Chasing Rainbows. LB (6) 1 Sewell’s, Foxearth Farris via Lewarne. Wow! Couldn’t take my eyes off her! Reminded me of an old favourite of mine Ch Foxearth Farah. Really clean head, correct stop, dark eyes and excellent ear carriage. Long neck. Strong but elegant body, well ribbed. Good front, hindquarters rounded with well set on tail. Moved fluently fore and aft. CC, BOB and BIS. 2 Hill’s, Devern Fate a Compli. Another nice tri. Smaller than winner but well proportioned. Neat and feminine. Good head pattern, structurally sound, agile mover. 3 Burton’s, Glencorrie Begorgeous. OB (5) 1 Macgregor’s, Ch. Southcombe Sophisticate at Rowvale. Smart tri in good condition with gleaming black jacket. In outline, long, lean and lithe with crested neck holding her attractive head beautifully. Moved with steady stride. 2 Griffith’s, Alopex Coneti Blue. Attractive b/m of excellent colour. Head nicely proportioned, overall shape pleasing. Well muscled. Movement better from the rear. 3 Burton’s, Astrellita Beloved of Glencorrie.
