What a beautiful day. The weather earlier in the week caused problems in our ring so we were moved to share the BIS ring. The shade was v welcome indeed. I did appreciate the lovely entry considering it was a mid-week date. No absentees too, thank you all. Thank you too to the fabulous stewards who kept the ring unhurried yet flowing, an art in itself. All the d’s were in various stages of moult but looked lovely and clean, they were a joy to go over. I do hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did.

PD (2). 1 Forbes’ Pelgart Paint It Black At Willowhurst. Well shown tri, v promising. Needs to tighten on movement. Won BP on maturity; 2 Purvey’s Norfield Silver Knight For Freejack. B/m, not so well forward in coat and also needs to tighten in movement. A lovely p with time on his side.

PGD (4). 1 Purvey’s Freejack The Highlander. A lovely tri who moved and showed well, in one with his handler. Took the class on condition; 2 Forbes’ Pelgart Pied Piper Of Willowhurst. Tri, a promising young d that, once he turns those inches into muscle will trouble the best; 3 Gadd’s Snuggletooth Filly’s Fellow At Chichnoir.

OD (4). 1 Moore’s Manordeifi Solar Eclipse. A lovely masculine tri, good upstanding stance showing himself off. Moved really well. BD; 2 Griffiths’ Alopex Highland Fling. A v promising young tri, everything right about him, just needs to mature, RBD; 3 Gadd’s Astrellita Just William At Chicnoir.

PB (1). 1 Gidding’s Foxearth Gold Filigree. I liked this sable b v much, but she decided to drop her coat and didn’t look her best at all. With a new coat will trouble the best.

PGB (2). 1 Moores’ Manordeifi Star Attraction. This tri b was well constructed which gave her the true collie movement. Showed well and won RBB; 2 Gadd’s Chicnoir Quiescima. Lovely sable, a bustly showlady who needs to settle and take time to put on weight.

OB (4). 1 Griffith’s Alopex Confetti Blue. B/m who took my eye as she came into the ring. V feminine, her lovely expression earned her BB and BOB. Moved and showed so well; 2 Gadd’s Ch Snuggletooth Flurry’s Filly. A really lovely tri, moved well. Needs just a shade more weight to complete the picture; 3 Moore’s Manordeifi Lady Penelope.
