JD. 1. Winter and Unwin’s, Sturtmoor Alexavier Odessy at Snowtrekka. Tri dog of excellent type. He has a nice head, would like more neck. Good body for age and good topline. Would like stronger and more angulated hindquarters, but he moved round the ring so freely and effortlessly. Well handled and lovely temperament. 2. Purvey’s, Norfield Silver Knight for Freejack. Strong masculine head, skull rather deep in profile, good ears. Acceptable length of neck, good body and bone. Tail curled over the back and colour needs to clear. Still has lots to like about him.
PGD. 1. Loader’s, Foxearth Flaming Star. Strong masculine dog. Strong head, excellent length of neck and well angulated both ends. Excellent body, good bone. A little too proud of his tail. In good coat and condition. Moved well. 2. Pyrveys’, Freejack the Highlander. Smaller dog who has a typical well made head. Neck could be longer and I would like better layback of shoulders. Moved freely and was shown in good form.
OD. 1. Griffiths’s, Alopex Highland Fling. BOB. Tri dog of classic type with an excellent outline. Well made, balanced head, good ears. Ok length of neck. Good topline, tailset and tail cattiage. Good bone. Moved and showed well. In good coat. Excellent condition. Well handled. 2. Hales’, Londer Look Smart. RBD. A different type altogether. Rather strong in head, but long neck. Excellent body, good coat. At first a little over enthusaistic on the move, but when settled moved well. Good coat and condition. JB. 1. Griffiths’, Alopex Fine Provenance. BB and BP. I absolutely loved this young lady. The most classy head with lovely eyes and expression. Perfect ears, goo neck and body. Excellent bone, legs and feet. Moved and showed well. Lovely temperament. In my humble opinion a class act whose future career I will follow with interest. 2. Webb’s, Chicnoir Sweet Dreams at Llevol. A bitch puppy with a great sence of humour, really too playful and uncontrolled to assess her properly. She has good bone and well angulated hindquarters. Lovely temperament. Needs to grow on and grow up.
PGB. 1. Coates’s, Starlight Spirit at Pencloda. Blue merle. A nice bitch with a well made head and good ears. Would like stronger underjaw. Good neck and body. Moved freely from side and well behind. Well handled giving her the chance to show off her virtues with style and temperament.
OB. 1. Gay’s, Hilltarn Kiri at Yagane. Very attractive and well constructed bitch who has a nice head and expression with excellent ears. Balanced neck, excellent body, tailset and carriage. The purist will probably penalise her for her colour which definitely could be better, but in my opinion this partly compensated by her type and many virtues. Showed herself off to her best advantage and never put a foot wrong. 2. Purvey’s, Chicnior Lils Little Love vai Snuggletooth. Blue merle of excellent colour in good coat. Very attractive. She has so much to like about her, just has to show it off with more confidence and temperament. A sound bitch, well made and well angulated.
