JUDGE  Mrs Wendy Bobbett

Before judging commenced a minute’s silence was observed for Mrs Pem Hindes who has been well known in the breed for many years and who had recently passed away.

PD. (4). 1. Wallis’s, Norfield Soul Mate. Nicely made s/w. Balanced head, well shaped dark eye, good ears used well. Good neck and front. Nicely boned. Good topline and rear quarters. Moved well. BP. 2. Forbes’s, Shulune Lord of Ladros. Another nice youngster. Not quite the quality in head as winner. Well placed ears used well. Good neck and topline. Muscular rear quarters. Moved soundly. 3. Purvey’s, Freejack the Highlander.

JD. (2). 1. Forbes’s, Shulune Lord of Ladros. 2. Purvey’s, Freejack the Highlander. Very nice tri baby at just 7 months just giving a lot away at the moment. Balanced clean head. Lovely dark well shaped eye, good ears used non stop. Good neck, true front. Well boned for age. Good topline and rear angulation. Moved nicely.

LD. (3). 1. Evans’s, Manordeifi Smart Guy at Southcombe. Nicely presented s/w of good quality. Good overall shape and balanced throughout. Clean head, good eye and expression, well placed ears used well. Good neck and shoulders. True front, correct topline. Strong rear quarters enabling him to move soundly with drive. RCC. 2. Hindes’, Chicnoir Best Mate. Another very pleasing type handled well to bring out the best. Pushed winner hard. Nicely made and well balanced with good head, eye and expression. Correct front and rear angulation. Good topline kept on the move. Moved well. 3. Moores’, Manordeifi Solar Eclipse.

OD. (4). 1. Haywards’, Ger/Lux/Int Ch. Foxearth High Frequency (Imp). Such an impressive Smooth tri dog I haven’t seen for a long time. Very well presented, the coat which is of the corrat texture is jet black with a hugh white shawl collar accentuating his good reach of neck. Well balanced clean head. Well shaped sweet dark eye giving pleasing expression, good foreface and underjaw. Well placed ears used to advantage. Correct shoulder angulation and depth of brisket. Straight front and neat feet. Good topline with slight rise over loins. Rear quarters strong and well muscled with good bend of stifle. Correct length of tail and good tail carriage. Moved effortlessly and soundly around the ring. Pleased to award him the CC. 2. Croman’s, Hilltarn Steel Rover of Cromarty. Lovely coloured, well broken b/m. Heavier in type than winner. Nice head, good foreface. Pleasing eye and expression, well used ears. Balanced body. Good front and rear quarters. Nicely handled. Moved soundly. 3. Hindes’, Chicnoir Quartermaster.

PB. (1). 1. Leach’s, Hilltarn Sweet Dreams. Nicely made tri baby of 8 months. Balanced overall. Good head pattern, nice eye, correctly placed ears. Nice arch of neck, good topline. Good front and rear quarters. Moved nicely.

JB. (3). 1. Howarth’s, Snuggletooth Ollie’s Oh La La to Crownbred. Pleasing s/w shown to advantage and putting it all in on the day. Feminine bitch with clean head, sweet dark eye. Nicely moulded foreface. Well placed ears used non stop. Good neck and topline. Correct true front. Good rear quarters. Nicely muscled enabling her to move with drive. Should do well in the future. 2. Evans’s, Southcombe She’s the One. Very nice bitch but just preferred the expression of winner. Good front, nicely boned throughout without being coarse. Pleasing body shape. Good rear angulation. Moved well.

PGB. (4). 1. MacGregor’s, Foxearth Flaunt it for Rowvale. Very well presented b/m of good clear blue, well broken and of correct texture. Clean head, good foreface, nice well shaped eye, sweet expression. Correct shoulder placement and true front. Correct length of body with slight rise over loin. Strong rear quarters with good muscle tone. Moved easily around the ring. 2. Bullion’s, Foxearth Flame of Love at Ostarian. Very feminine tri. Jet black colour and good white shawl giving striking appearance. Very similar in type to winner and same comments apply. These two nitches should have a bright future. 3. Moores’, Manordeifi Scherezade.

LB. (10). 1. Moores’, Manordeifi Silver Dawn. Very nice type b/m of good colour and well broken. Have always liked this bitch who is so sound and well balanced, and facing stiff competition on the day. Could easily have given the first 3 red cards but there can only be one winner. Clean balanced head, nice dark sweet eye giving desired expression. Flat backskull, good ears used well. Nicely arched neck, good topline and set of tail. Well angulated rear quarters enabling her to move with drive. RCC. Am sure her day will come. 2. Hyde’s, Foxearth Follow the Dream. Very nicely presented and well handled. This feminine bitch is balanced throughout. Lovely moulded head, dark well placed eye giving sweet expression, flat backskull, well placed ears used to advantage. Nice reach of neck, good shoulder angulation. Correct length of body and strong rear quarters. Moved easily around the ring. Must have a bright future. 3. Robinson’s, Hilltarn Valentine.

OB. (7). Quality class where I was spoiled for choice. 1. MacGregor’s, Ch. Southcombe Sophisticate at Rowvale. Super feminine tri bitch who put it all in on the day. and looked a natural born showgirl never putting a foot wrong. Very well balanced head, good foreface and underjaw. Sweet dark well placed eye giving a melting expression, flat backskull, well placed ears used to advantage. Good length of neck with correct arch. Correct shoulder angulation and depth of brisket. Good depth of chest. Firm level back with slight rise over croup and well set tail which she kept down on the move. Strong rear quarters with well bent stifle on strong well let down hocks. Moved smoothly and effortlessly around the ring with drive and looked like she could keep it up all day. Pleased to award her CC and BOB.
