British Collie 2005

V (3) 1 Rowe’s Ch Rowvale Rainbow Warrior, this blue boy won the CC under me at Crufts some years ago & he pressed hard for the Res CC today. Pleasing head and expression, neat eye but rather lazy ears, excellent neck and shoulder, strong topline with correct rise, firm well rounded quarters, outstanding ground covering action, shown in super jacket & condition, great credit to his owner/breeder. 2, Sewells, Ch Foxearth Farah, pretty headed bitch with excellent eyes and ears, slightly short in upper arm which causes her to prance somewhat on the forehand, very good topline and quarters, well conditioned and in excellent coat, front feet a little flat. PD (4) 1 Wallis’ Norfield Soul Mate, promising lad who needs time, somewhat heavy in head, neat dark eyes and excellent ears, crested neck, well laid shoulders, firm rounded quarters but rather bum high so needing to balance up, feet rather open coming forward, moved well enough for his age, outstandingly good jacket. 2 Shulune Lord of Ladros, sh/s, smaller, better balance, loved his type and quality, pleasing head but the nose drops off a little, jacket a little open, rear action unconvincing and it cost him the class. 3 Chicnoir My Mate. JD (4) 1 CC & BOB Norman & Ratcliff’s Foxearth Blue Jeans Forever, b/m of superb type and quality, balanced handsome head, neat eyes and well placed alert ears, classic line through the neck and shoulders, correct topline, firm rounded quarters, tail placed and carried well, jacket a tad open but of super texture and well broken colour, excellent action with inch perfect footfall. I was thrilled to judge such an outstanding young dog. 2 N Soul Mate. 3 Astrellita Dr Dray. PGD (3) 1 Moores Manordeifi Solar Eclipse, big ugly tri, reasonable type but short in upper arm, falls away over the croup, tail set and carried too high.. 2 Chicnoir Sea Biscuit, pleasing s/w, promising head spoilt by ears, balanced body, uncoordinated action. OD (3) 1 RCC, Norman & Ratcliff’s Ch Foxearth Flash Past, s/w of excellent quality and balance, head of good proportions, well placed alert ears, eyes too small for a Smooth giving a somewhat alien expression, crested neck and well placed shoulder, firm topline, rounded quarters, tail placed and carried well, excellent jacket, outstanding action. 2 Tuck’s Dark Motif From Mistoff JW, smaller and somewhat finer tri, tight jacket, balanced body though slightly short in upper arm, correct topline, firm nicely rounded quarters, moved quite well. 3 Sharidon Touch of Frost.
