MPD. (3). 1. Clark’s, Astrellita Dr Dray. Tri colour. Must improve in head and front. Good going away. Would like a little more substance. Showed well. 2. Hindes’, Chicnor Quarterback. This sable is of nice type and has a good expression. Needs to grow on. Flatten in skull and improve in temperament. Goes very wide behind.
JD. (1). 1. Clark’s, Glencorrie Be Worthy for Astrellita. Very flashy tri colour. Nice type of head with lovely eyes. Just needs to flatten in skull a little. Lovely neck and outline. Very showy with such rich tan markings.
PGD. (3). 1. Wallis’s, Norfield Tin Star. Masculine and very mature b/m colour not his fortune. Lovely head, very well made and shapely. His movement won him this class. 2. Hindes’, Chicnoir Best Mate. Good coated s/w. Smaller and more square than winner. Needs a little more bone and better feet. Bit proud of his tail and throws his front about a bit on the move. 3. Moores’, Manordeifi Solar Eclipse.
LD. (2). 1. Evans’s, Southcombe Sunset Shadow. Upstanding s/w with very pleasing head, although eye could be a little better. Lovely bone and feet. Well made throughout and has a good outline. Very sound behind, just toeing in a little in front. Won RCC. 2. Hindes’, Chicnoir Quartermaster. S/w in gleaming condition. Very nice head if a touch deep through. Good neck and topline. Little soft in condition. Needs better pasterns and feet.
OD. (4). 1. Norman’s, Foxearth Flash Past. Outstanding in the males. This s/w is a good Collie. Quality although. Lovely head, neat ears and super expression. Super neck and outline. Excellent quarters. Sound although. Moved and showed well. Good bone. Lovely feet and super condition. Won CC with a bit in hand. 2. Kinsey’s, Foxearth Finlander of Sturtmoor. This b/m is a lovely colour. Decent in outline and was in good condition. I found him a little feminine in outlook. Quite a nice type of head but ears could be tighter and feet must improve. 3. Tuck’s, Dark Motif from Misstoff.
MPB. (4). 1. Hutchings’, Foxearth Flourescence at Molloney. First and second were two gorgeous coloured b/m litter sisters. Very similar in most respects. This one has a very pretty head and blue eyes. Lovely neck and well made body. Long tail and a sound mover. So well presented. Hope she grows on a little more. BP. 2. MacGregor’s, Foxearth Flaunt it for Rowvale. So like her sister. Again pretty head with two dark eyes. Sound and very showy and beautifully presented. Just not quite the immaculate topline of her sister. Both are lovely and it was very close. She too must grow on a little. 3. Hindes’s, Chicnor Olivers Dancer.
PB. (5). 1. Evans’s, Southcombe Society Girl. This tri sets herself up very well. Biggish girl and could perhaps be a touch more feminine. I liked her head and eye very much. So pleasing to go over and very mature. Sound on the move and shows well. 2. Kinsey’s, Chicnoir Ice Krystal of Sturtmoor. Smaller tri. Needs a little more bone and substance throughout. Not the head or ears of winner. Decent behind but not too good in front. 3. Hindes’, Chicnoir Flash Dance.
JB. (4). 1.Robinson’s, Hilltarn Valentine. Quality tri. Very good head and ears. Just a little starey in eye. Very good outline with lovely neck and firm topline. Very sound mover who showed all the time. Just between coats at the moment. 2. Taylor’s, Snuggletooth Fillys Fancy among Trageeda. Would like a little more of this tri. Very nice head type but ears a bit high. Well made body, just a touch square in outline. Very good behind but a bit rocky coming towards. 3. Moores’, Manordeifi Scheherazade.
PGB. (5). 1. Bullion’s, Foxearth Flame of Lobe at Ostarain. Quality tri. Loved this ones head, eye and expression. Although ears carries a little high. Lovely neck and outline. Very well bodied. Decent mover but would like better feet. Excellent showgirl. 2. Moores’, Manordeifi Silver Dawn. Very well made b/m. Colour is not her fortune and can be somewhat proud of her tail. Very typy head and nice. Pleasing to go over and shown hard and fit. Movement is sound and fluid. Must concentrate more on her showmanship. 3. Goddard’s, Foxearth Fire of Love at Lilymead.
LB. (5). Without a doubt this was the best class of the day. 1. Robinson’s, Southcombe Sweet as a Nut. Very high quality s/w. Lovely head with clean stop and neat ears, flat skull too, eyes could be just a little better and expression sweeter. After that not a lot to fault. Feminine yet with substance. Super neck and outline. Good front, excellent quarters. Super pigmentation. Naturally good outline. Just can;t stand wrong. Superlative on the move. CC and BOB. 2. Moores’, Manordeifi Star Attraction. Beautifully presented tri. Lovely head and eye. Rich tan markings. Very sound and so well made. So showily marked too. Good neck and moved very well. Just flying her ears a little in the challenge lost her RCC. 3. Gay’s, Hilliarn Kiri at Yagane.
OB. (3). 1. Hayward’s, Foxearth Castles in the Sky. This s/w has possibly the best head on view. Long refined with moulded foreface and clean cheeks. Flattest of skulls. Lovely ears and the most beautiful expression. Good neck and decent outline. Very well presented. Touch soft in condition and not quite the hindquarters of her victor. Still a lovely Collie. Very well deserved her RCC. 2. Douglas’s, Foxearth Speckled Wood. Pretty tri. Very pleasing head and eye, good ears and a keen showgirl. Lovely neck front and topline. Sound mover. Touch square in outline and tail a little short and feet could be better. Shown in sparkling condition.
BRACE (1). 1. Hindes. Very well matched pair of sables.
