OD. 1. Griffith’s, Alopex Going Equipped. Blue merle. Nearly 3 years old of working appearance. Clean wedge head with slight stop, dark eye and good underjaw. Nice depth of body with well sprung ribs. Good length of upper arm. Long in loin. Well muscled legs, strong bone and flexible pasterns. Correct tail length and carriage. Moved well. BD and BOS.
PB. 1. Griffith’s, Alopex Confetti Blue. Pretty blue of 8 and a half months (born on the best day of the year!). Balanced head smooth in outline. Flat skull, almond eye, correct ear carriage. Sweet expression. Arched neck, good forehand construction. Straight front, correct body ratios, but a little more stifle angulation would benefit her outline and drive on rear movement. Nonetheless a top quality bitch. BP and BB and BOB.
JB. 1. Stilgoe’s, Foxearth Fatal Beauty at Yeldust. Golden sable of 17 months with many standard attributes. She is superbly conditioned and was presented in pristine order too. In head qualities I found her to be rather strong, lacking femininity. However, she is nicely constructed, and moved soundly. Top marks to her smartly dressed young handler and good luck with her for the future. RBB.
LB. 1. Forbe’s, Hilltarn Chance. Merle of 7 years. Good length of body with nice shoulder angulation, firm back and good hindquarters. Lean head, but rather full in eye not giving such a sweet expression. Strode out well on the move, but tended to toe as little in front. Attentive show girl. 2. Wery’s, Dancerwood Shady Lady with Luvies. Sable bitch of 4 years. More feminine in head properties than winner with sweeter expression. Would have preferred her a shade longer in back and with more animation on the move.
