With no CCs on offer on the day and only three classes I was pleased with the entry. The quality was good although on or two had weak underjaws and I would have liked to see more drive in the hind action of some exhibits.

J (3). 1. and RBB, Douglas’s, Foxearth Speckled Earth. 14 month old tri. Promising, nice shape with good head and shoulders. Correct bone. Nice elbows, good topline with slight rise over the loin, stifles and hocks OK. Backend should tighten with time and correct exercise. 2 and Best Puppy Moores’ dog Manordeifi Solar Eclipse. Only 8 months and giving away a lot of age in this class. Good head, eyes and ears, correct mouth and underjaw. Well angulated fore and aft. Moved well for his age. 3 Moore’s bitch Manordeifi Silver Dawn,

PG (3) 1 and Best Bitch Speding’s Antoc Fascination. Tri, typical. Good head, sweet feminine expression. Nicely angulated shoulders. Good topline, stifles and hocks. Excellent mover. The best so far on the day. 2 Kinsey’s dog Foxearth To Twist Fate of Sturtmoor. S/W. Res Best Dog. 7 months and showing well. All made with nice expression. Good shoulders, body, topline and stifles. Moved nicely. 3 Moores’ Manordeifi Sergeant Pepper.

O (2) 1 Best Dog and Best of Breed, Kingsey’s Foxearth Finlander of Sturtmoor. B/M. Nice head, good mouth, having a little trouble with his ears at the moment. Sweet expression, correct shoulders and bone. Good body, nice topline, nicely angulated rear. Another with superb movement. 2 Moores’ bitch Southcombe Styled in Gold for Manordeifi. S/W. 6 years and a credit to her owner. Well constructed and moved nicely.
