Firstly, thank you for a good entry. There were some very promising youngsters. On the down side, I was disappointed to find than many had dirty teeth - this is not just unsatisfactroy in a show dog but could affect the animal’s health in the future. Several of the dogs moved wide at the back end which looked ungailey and inhibited a positive driving movement. Smoe ears were a bit heavy. Temperaments were good.

PD. (1). 1. Hindes’, Chicnoir Best Mate. 8 months old sable. Well presented youngster og good type. Liked his head and expression, dark eye. Sound construction with correct shoulder and rear end. Took time to settle but showed real promise. BP and RBD.

JD. (1). 1. Hindes’, Chicnoir Best Mate.

PGD. (2). 1. Hindes’, Chicnoir Quartermaster. Sable, just out of Junior. Masculine balanced head. Well placed eye of good colour, strong underjaw. Good lay of shoulder, matched by correct body shape and well turned stifle. Easy flowing movement completed the picture. Fully deserved to eb BD and close up for BOB but just lacked maturity. 2. Kinsey’s, Foxearth to Twist Fate of Sturtmoor. Sable. Not so masculine as winner. Good colour with nice expression. Showed well. Would prefer better front assembly.

LD. (4). 1. Croman’s, Hilltarn Steel River of Cromarty. 4 years old blue merle. Sound construction. Good front and rear angles. Corect head and expression. Moved well. Coat could be slightly tighter. 2. Webb’s, Dancerwood Dangerman at Llevol. 6 years old sable. Nice type with pleasing expression. Moved and showed ok. Again would prefer a tighter coat. Griffiths’s, Alopex Going Equipped.

OB. (2). 1. Purvey’s, Tanboree Jack Frost. Blue merle. 6 years old. Ok for type and colour. Good head and eye. Wide in front. 2. French’s, Delmbush Crackerjack at Frendet. 7 years old blue merle. Short upper arm meant a hackneyed front action. Head ok.

PB. (2). 1. Moores’, Manordeifi Silver Dawn. 10 months old blue merle. Very composed young lady, showing well. Good construction with well laid shoulder and nice body shape. Sweet head and expression. Colour just needs to clear. 2. Hindes’, Chicknoir Solo. 9 months old sable. Nice type. Good body shape. Not so steady on the move. Preferred head of winner.

JB. (2). 1. French’s, Chicnoir Eternal Star at Frendet. 18 months old tri. Overall construction ok. Correct head. Felt her movement was generally untidy and this let her down. 2. Purvey’s, Chicnior Hors-La-Loi-lll. Litter sister to winner. Again nice type. Pleasing head and expression. Never settled in this class. Needs to tighten up all round.

LB. (3). 1. Moore’s, Southcombe Styled in Gold for Manordeifi. Sable of good type. Correct front and body shape. Moved with purpose. Liked her head and expression. Tight coat. RBB. 2. White’s, Dancerwood Dollar Girl 6 years old sable. Balanced head, lovely eye. Very feminine. Would prefer a better front. 3. French’s, Frendet Fantasia.

OB. (2). 1. Lister’s, Ch. Newarp Jesena Moonlight Sonata. Blue merle. Now 8 years old and just begining to look her age but could not be denied for her overall quality. Lovely head and expression, good eye placement and correctly tipped ears. Moved with dribe and an easy gait. BB and BOB. 2. Griffiths’, Alopex Silverstone. 3 and a half years old blue merle. Not eh elegance of head of the winner. Sound construction but lacked enthusiasm and drive when asked to move.
