P (1,1a). J (1) 1 Moore’s Manordeifi Summer Magic, tri bitch who stood alone in the class but a worthy winner. Good length to head with a nice eye giving a sweet expression. Balanced body shape with a firm topline both standing & on the move. Moved & showed well. PG (6,3) 1 Peacock’s Blamorder Back To The Start for Saraneth, tri bitch who appealed immediately, rounded bone & neat feet, well arched muscled neck, good shaped head, flat skull, nice foreface with well placed eye, giving a very feminine expression. On the move she held her topline with an effortless action, looking as though could sustain a day’s work with ease. RBB; 2 Moore’s Tomalca Buttons ‘N’ Bows at Manordeifi, sable bitch, nice head planes, with well placed ears, & eye, combining to give a very sweet expression. Nice size with body shape all in proportion & good angulations. L (3,1) 1 Benton’s Oakestelle Venus De Milo, b/m bitch with a well arched muscular neck & a good length to body. Lovely head with correct planes & eye placement, strong underjaw giving desired expression. Moved with purpose & drive; 2 Moore’s Manordeifi Silver Dazzler, another quality b/m bitch heavier in construction than 1 but still feminine. She has a lovely eye shape & balance of head patterns. Straight legs, good length of back, her movement was a little erratic but when she got into her stride she moved with purpose & drive. OD (4,1) 1 Hutchings’ Collidach Molloney Ta Tu You, what a pleasure to go over this tri who was very attentive to his handler at all times & well presented. He was for me a classic example of the breed, his head is balanced with the best of eye shape, good stop, well moulded muzzle & neat well placed ears. This combined gave a masculine expression. On the move his excellent, balanced angulations really showed with effortless drive from the rear, good reach in front, & he looked like he could go on forever. BOB, BIS; 2 Benton & Wood’s Oakestelle Vivaldi, another quality tri male who again was a pleasure to judge & was presented in excellent condition. He had a delightful outgoing presence. Good head pattern, nice eye, balanced body shape with firm topline & good angulations. Moved & showed well. OB (4) 1 Benton’s Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle, a b/m who I have always admired. She is an excellent colour which is well broken up. Very nice head planes, & well placed ears, eye & stop, combining to give a very sweet ultra feminine expression. Nice size with body shape all in proportion. Her movement was effortless with a good extension & rear drive. BB, RBIS; 2 Hutchings’ Collidach Molloney Fay Mouse, b/m bitch who is first class. Lovely clean, flat skull with good underjaw, the sweetest of eyes with good earset & carriage, giving a feminine expression. She has a lovely neck & good, well angulated front with super depth of body. Moved out very well with good side extension. V (3,1) 1 Moore’s Manordeifi Sweet Suzanna, 7 years tri bitch who I found captivating as she was full of spirit & very outgoing. She has a quality head shape with good length, planes & fill of muzzle, well placed ears, eye & stop, combining to give a very sweet expression. Her zest for life was continued in her movement which was effortless with good front & rear extensions. BV, BVIS; 2 Lister’s Ch Eridor I’m Mr Blue at Newarp, 10 years b/m dog who I have admired during his superb career & a Smooth Collie to be appreciated. He was not himself in the ring & this showed in his unwillingness to participate both showing & on the move. Nevertheless he is a quality dog with a good balanced head, correct stop, well filled foreface & powerful under jaw. He has good bone & neat feet & is balanced in size & structure.
