Many thanks to the officers and committee for a lovely  day.  Such a pity this show was the day after Manchester Ch show where Smooth Collies have CC’s. 
Nevertheless, I was more than happy with the quality of the dogs I had under me.

Post Graduate Dog (2, 2) 
1st Swann’s Plaisance George Le-Beau at Swanndale.  Three  year old tri.  Nice dark eye, good stop, correctly placed ears.   Moved well.  Lovely temperament.   Would just prefer him to carry more weight.
2nd Bardill’s Plaisance Fenton Le Beau, litter brother to 1, Nice outline, in good condition, preferred his expression to 1 but he was not happy here.

Open Dog (2,1)
1st McKenna & Bardill’s Ch Macgee’s Street Spirit  At Plaisance.  No secret I like this worthy Champion, now five years young and one I have often admired from the ringside.  Good sized masculine male with plenty of bone.  Fabulous expression, beautiful  shaped eye, correct wedge shaped head with no sign of coarseness and correct ear carriage, wonderful length of neck and great depth of chest.  Finished off with a jet black jacket.  Moved well with good side extension and showed really well.  Best Dog & BOB.

1st McKenna & Bardill’s Ch Shulune Imperial Flower of Plaisance.  Five year old sable.  From the ringside I always imagined her head would not be for me but was pleasantly surprised and can see why she has gained her title with ease as I was quite taken with her.  On going over her I found her head to be of correct shape, lovely eye, correct stop, ear carriage and ample chin.  Loved her overall shape, good front and turn of stifle.  Moved well.  I would love to see her again with her correct, tight coat sparkling, ran the Dog very close.  Many thanks for bringing her today.       Best bitch & Best Opposite Sex.


Veteran Bitch (2,1)
1st Burgess Lilymead Appanchi .  Tri bitch of 8 years with a most beautiful expression and dark correct eye.  Well placed ears correctly carried and looking much better than last time I saw her having lost some weight, giving a much better body shape and now moving so much better. Nicely angulated.  Showed well.  Best Veteran.
