I would like to thank the committee for running such a happy, friendly show. I was made to feel very welcome, also a big thank you to both my ring stewards on keeping everything moving smoothly. VD/B (3, 2) 1 Forbes' Ir Int Ch Pelghart Paint It Black At Willowhurst. 9 years of age, been a true ambassador for the Smooth Collie. Tri whose head handles well and still has a bright alert expression. Coat is harsh to touch with the correct amount of undercoat and as always presented and handled well, RBD, BV. LD (4, 2) 1 Denton's Ryecombe Jaffa Jake At Brackenhaye. Good overall construction, straight front and good angulated front and rear. Head is well proportioned with nicely placed ears giving the desired expression. Stood four square with good legs and feet. Good depth of body and spring of rib, moved very well. 2 Leach's Manordeifi Dionysus At Hilltarn. OD (4, 1) 1 French's Ch Foxearth Flock Master For Breckamore JW. There is not much to dislike about this 3 yrs old Tri. Medium sized and completely balanced. Head of good length and proportions. Rounded muzzle, filling in well as he matures. Sweetest obliquely set eye, very well balanced and flat back skull. Good length of neck leading to very well placed shoulders. Well angulated straight front. Level topline, back of good length, with well rounded croup and solid rear. Stood and showed to perfection, and his forte was his effortless movement. Pleased to award him BD, BOB, RBIS. 2 Griffiths' Alopex Matt Finnish. 3 Bardill's Plaisance Fenton Le Beau. PB (1) 1 Forbes' Willohurst Vanity. Very promising Tri. Beautiful overall shape and balance. Sweetest of heads, with dark eye. Ears well set, very clean cheeks and good back skull. Nice length of neck which she used well. Level topline, well set tail. Still erratic on the move. JB (3, 1) 1 McKenna & Bardill's Plaisance Blue Belle. 15 months blue merle with nice outline and excellent overall balance. Lovely head, eyes, expression and ears. Good neck. Straight front, oval feet. Good body and topline for age. Well angulated in rear. Nice mover. 2 Benton's Oakestelle Venus De Milo. PGB (4, 3) 1 Norman's Seanua Serendipity. Nice headed s/w, well rounded muzzle and blunt dark oblique eye, liked her size and height, good body and condition, she was a bit unsettled on the move. LB (3, 1) 1 Denton's Kevranna Theras Enate Echo. Beautiful s/w, who put in a splendid performance on the day. A very sound and typical bitch to go over with a lovely feminine head, good eyes and expression, perfect ears. Lengthy neck, straight front. Just right in body and topline. Well let down in stifles and hocks. Profident mover. BB. 2 Norman's Rycombe Drama Queen. OB (8, 2) 1 McKenna & Bardill's Plaisance Betty La Belle. Lovely headed s/wh. Pleases in head, eyes, expression and ears, nice straight front. Good body, ribs and chest. Ideal topline and rear angulation, very sound on the move.
