I undertook this appointment at very short notice, as the original judge, Mr C French, was unable to attend due to illness in the family, we wish them all well. The quality of the dogs was high and my thanks go to the exhibitors, who showed great sportsmanship in spite of the change of judge. PD (5,2) 1 Swann's Plaisance George le Beau at Swanndale. 8 and a half months tricolour. Head a lean blunt wedge, with level planes and a well-placed eye. Arched neck, long tail and good angulation. In excellent overall condition, moved with drive and showed to advantage. BP, BOB, went on to BPIS and RBIS. Well done! 2. Bardill's Plaisance Fenton le Beau. 3. Howe's Dawcher Dawn's Sunrise. od (2,1) 1. McKenna and Bardill's Macgees Street Spirit at Plaisance. Nicely constructed 2 years old tricolour. Moved and showed well. Clean, balanced head carried on a well arched neck. Has a good level topline. RBD PB (1) 1. McKenna and Bardill's Plaisance Betty la Belle. Lovely sable baby of 9 months. Sound and of good general construction, just needs to tighten in movement. Head with good clean lines, overall a very promising puppy. OB (3) 1. Hartley's Foxearth Silver Dream at Jimjack. Three years old, well coloured merle with good coat texture, moved straight and soundly. She is constructed on the right lines, neat and compact in body and showing well.
