The weather was against us and the ring was not very flat so I really appreciated the long journeys you all made to make my first Breed Open Show appointment very enjoyable. P (1) 1 Moores. Manordeifi Silver Sparkle. Well balanced Blue Merle bitch, would prefer her colours to be clearer, has a clean head, nice almond eyes, good ear set, nice conformation, moved well, need to watch weight. J (2,1a) 1 Moores. Manordeifi Shadow Chaser. Tri Dog, one for the future but as his sister, needs to watch weight. This did not affect his movement, full of himself, plenty of drive, nicely moulded with good head, lovely expression, good ears, nice reach of neck on a well constructed body, good angulation. B.P. & Reserve B. Dog. PG (4,1a) 1 Benton. Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle. Nice colour Merle Bitch, one I have given BPIS to before, well moulded head with correct stops, good expression, nice wedge, good ear set, nice outline, not too long in back, very alert to her owner, showed well and moved with drive. RBB.Reserve Best of Breed. 2 Purvey. Freejack Midnight Dazzler. Tri Dog, a little strong in head for me, well balanced throughout, good strong rear action on the move. L (4,1 a) Griffiths. Alopex Little Summer. Unfortunately the weather was not as good as her name. Lovely feminine sable bitch, good conformation with nice depth and spring of rib, nice top line, moderate bone. She has a nice flat skull, would prefer a tighter ear carriage to complete the picture and a darker eye. Best of Breed. 2 Purvey. Freejack a Touch of Magic. Similar in type to 1st. place, good reach of neck, nice conformation, nicely balanced head, moved well. OD (3,1a) 1 Moore. Manordeifi Storm Breaker. Tri colour, very nicely made, lovely expression, masculine, good muscle tone, correct length of back and good angulation which gave him drive, kept top line on the move. BD & BOS. 2 Purvey. Freejack Royal Knight. A nice overall type, good angulation, a nice reach of neck, nice almond eye, nice clean head, good ear set. OB (3) 1 Hills. Devern Fate A Compli. Well balanced Tri bitch, just pipped 2nd, lovely expression, lovely eye, good type, nice ears, good front and rear, moved well, coat a little wavy on hind quarters which gave a ripple effect. 2 Griffiths. Alopex Fine Provenance. Nice moulded head, alert expression, nice ear carriage, good front construction, a little wide on rear action on the move. V (4) What a lovely class of top oldies. 1 Hills. Devern Blue Silhouette. Blue Merle, at 10 years old still could show the youngsters how to move, lovely silver blue colour, nice and clear, lovely expression, sweet eye, well shaped head, lovely reach of neck, beautifully constructed, good front and rear action, a pleasure to go over. 2 Robinson. Tri Ch. Hilltarn Valentine JW. Seven years, nice overall quality, good ear set, nice lay of shoulder, good top line, good angulation, nice head pattern, had to give to age of 1 today. All exhibits were well presented, but don't forget the teeth.
