East Anglian Collie October 2010
G (3,2) 1 Benton's Alopaexx Marionette of Oakstelle. B/M I have admired from the ringside, not a big girl but everything in proportion and so well balanced overall. Very feminine with lovely wedge shaped head of good length and a pleasing expression. Firm back, deep chest and well sprung ribcage. Good angulation and sound construction, which enabled her to move with drive. Pleased to award her BOB, Res BIS and BOSIS. od (4,1) 1 Forbes' Ch & Ir Ch Int Ch Pelgart Paint It Black at Willowhurst. A favourite of mine who I have done well and previous remarks still apply. A tri who is all male and looks good in profile, to be a little critical I would prefer a more refined head. However, he does have reach of neck and length of back, a soundly constructed dog who moved with efforttless stride, keeping his topline and tail down. Thank you for allowing me to judge him again. Res BOB and BOISIB. 2 Griffiths' Alopex Matt Finnish, another tri I have admired and was not disappointed when going over him. Good wedge shaped head with pleasing expression. Nicely constructed with a good layback of shoulder, reach of neck, length of head and bend of stifle. Nicely angulated front and rear, appealing outline but not the animation of the winner. Moved true in both directions. 3 Lister's Ch Eridor I'm Mr Blue at Newarp (Imp). OB (3) 1 Griffith's Alopex Little Summer. I loved this s/w's expression, soft and dreamy. Head handles well with a flat skull, well placed ears and eyes, enough stop and sounded muzzle. Is nicely constructed with good shoulders and well muscled rear quarters. Showed and moved well, with ease and drive. 2 Griffiths' Alopex Out of the Blue. B/M with a good reach of neck and enough bone and substance. Head handles well, rounded muzzle and completely feminine, but would prefer a better eye shape. She is nicely constructed with correct topline and strong quarters, moves with a light, flowing action. 3 Cook's Foxearth Londer Leone.
