The London Collie Club held it's Open
show at Haddenham, BIS was the rough Magenta Moet. RES BIS Samhaven Treasured
Charm. BPIS the smooth Alopex Marionette of Oakestelle. I would like to thank
the smooth exhibitors for there support on finding out that their judge elect
was unable to officiate, I would like to wish Mrs C French a speedy recovery.
VD/B (5 2a) 1 Theobald's Ch Foxearth Phoebe, 10 year old blue,
who still retains many attributes. Her head is balanced and still shows such
refinement. Her outline is feminine, with a good neck, her front and rear
assemblies are lovely, she stood and showed well. Her movement was very
positive. 2 Hill's Ch Devern Blue Silhouette, this blue has a balanced head,
correct stop, her skull is flat and well filled. I liked her neck and shoulder
placement, she just did not cover the ground as easily as the winner. 3 Wallis's
Norfield Tin Star. PD/B (2 1) 1 Benton's Alopex Marionette of
Oakestelle, at just 8 months this delightful youngster ticked all the boxes for
me today, I was totally captivated by her gorgeous silvery blue charms. My eye
was drawn to her feminine outline which is so balanced. Her head is clean, with
a well placed stop, her skull is flat, she used her ears at all times, to show
her sweet expression. Her body shape is a joy to see, with enough neck, front
assemble is good. She is well muscled for one so young, and her rear angles
allowed her to move with drive. I will watch her future with interest and wish
her owner well.. Best bitch, Best opposite sex, Best puppy, Best Puppy in show.
JD/B (2) 1 Wallis's Norfield Scarlet Rose, 12 month old sable
bitch, who was a little timid in these surroundings. Balanced shape, with a good
neck, moved well and covered plenty of ground. She has a clean wedge head, good
stop, flat skull. I would prefer a tighter lip line. 2 Hill's Devern By Design,
very feminine sable bitch, I liked her head very much, clean cheeks, flat skull,
good neck and front. Not the drive from her hind action. PGD
(1) 1 Purvey's Freejack midnight Dazzler, plenty of substance on this tri
colour, he has good body lines. On the move he covered the ground with ease. I
would like a more refinement throughout his head pattern. LD
(1) 1 Moores's Manordeifi Storm Breaker, 3 year old jet black lad, who when
standing commands you to look at him. He is masculine but still retains
refinement. He has a correct front and strong hind quarters with a correct
second thigh and short hocks.. His head is balanced with a good expression, his
eye is well placed and very dark. He moved well. Pleased to award him BOB.
OD (2) 1 Purvey's Freejack Royal Knight, Blue who's outline instantly
appeals for his overall balance. He stands well at all times. His head is clean,
skull flat which is well filled, but I would prefer a little more chin. Res Best
Dog. 2 Wallis's Freejack First Knight at Norfield JW, tri colour who is longer
cast than his winning brother. Another who has a good front assembly, did not
move with the drive I expected and insisted on tucking himself up at the rear.
PGB (2) 1 Purvey's Freejack a Touch of Magic, wow this lady was so very
happy she could hardly stand still, but when she did she gave us all glimmers of
her very elegant outline, she was in hard condition. Like her head pattern very
much, such a pity her ears are low set. When she concentrated on the job in hand
moved well. Res Best Bitch. 2 Moores's Manordiefi Blue Penny, loved this very
feminine blue's head, it is such a good wedge, with well placed ears, which she
new exactly when to use, she has a good body shape, just did not move out as I
had hoped or expected. LB (1) 1 Moores's Manordeifi Silvadora,
blue in good condition. Clean wedge head, good stop, well placed eye. She has a
correct length of back, good front, strong hindquarters, moved very well.
OB (3 2a) 1 Hill's Devern Fate a Compli, tri colour who is very
feminine. Her head is clean with a nice expression. Good neck, shoulders and
length of back. Would like to see more drive from behind.
