It was a pleasure to judge at this well organised show. A very warm and friendly atmosphere prevailed through the show and the refreshments were super. It was a nice entry with many quality and very sound dogs. Many thanks to my two efficient ring stewards. P (3) 1 Wallis’ Norfield Scarlet Rose. Lovely type and quite mature. Nice shaped head and eye, straight front and good feet, well bodied for age. Good bend of stifle and a happy and sound mover. Best Puppy. 2 Benston’s Alopex Marionette of Oakestella. Another nice young bitch, only 6 months old but very promising. Lovely feminine head and a nice eye and earset. Good front and feet, nicely arched neck and a good topline and quarters. Moved really well both ways. Res BP. 3 Coates’ Alopex Blue Moon. J (4,2) 1 Purvey’s Freejack Midnight Dazzler. Clean head with a flat skull, rather lazy with ears. Excellent front and feet, strong neck and a good topline. Good tuern of stifle, well set tail and a nice coat. Sound and active mover. 2 Wallis’ Norfield Scarlet Rose. PG (3,1) 1 Griffiths’ Alopex Fine Provenance. Nice type with a quality head and good eye and ears. Straight front, deep chest and a good ribcage. Nice coat, active mover. 2 Purvey’s Freejack A Touch of Magic. Good feminine head and a nice eye. Neat front, good neck and shoulders. Smaller type, sound. L (4,1) 1 Purvey’s Freejack Royal Knight. Good quality with a masculine head and correct shaped eye and ears. Excellent front and well padded feet. Good length of neck, clean shoulders and a level back. Well bent stifle, very sound and happy mover. 2 Griffiths’ Alopex Out of the Blue. Lovely shaped head with a sweet expression, nice almond eye. Good front and feet and a nice length of neck. Well ribbed body and shapely quarters. Free mover. 3 Coates’ Starlight Spirit at Pencloda. OD (4) 1 Wallis’ Freejack First Knight at Norfield. Lovely head and expression, dark almond shaped eye and well set ears. Excellent straight front and well angulated shoulders. Lovely topline and well ribbed, strong and good shaped quarters and carries tail well. In good coat and condition, very sound and active mover. BOB. 2 Forbes’ Ch Ir Int Ch Pelghart Paint It Black at Willowhurst. Another super dog and very similar. Has a lovely masculine head with a good eye and earset, Excellent front and topline, deep chest and a level back. Well bent stifle and also in good coat and condition. Very close decision. 3 Griffiths’ Alopex Skymaster Blue. OB (4) 1 Robinspn’s Ch Hilltarn Valentine. Lovely type who shows so well. Has a quality head and a swet expression, dark eye and super ears which she uses. Excellent front and feet. Nicely arched neck and a good topline. Well bent stifle, well presented and a very sound mover. Best Bitch and Res BIS. 2 Robinson’s Ch Dawcher Dream Searcher. Good shaped head and a dark eye. Straight front and well padded feet. Nice reach of neck and good shoulders, level back with correct slight rise over lon. Excellent quarters and tailset, nice coat and a sound and free mover. 3 Hill’s Devern Fate A Compli. Vet (4,2) 1 Robinson’s Ch Southcombe Sweet As A Nut. Lovely feminine head and a nice eye and earset. Good front and feet, nice outline and excellent quarters. Looked and moved really well. 2 Hill’s Ch Devern Blue Silhouette. Lovely head, eye and ears. Nice forequarters and well ribbed with good shaped quarters. Well set tail, in good coat. Sound mover but not quite as active as the winner. 3 Seldon’s Chicnoir Golden Charm at Merland.
