VD (2). It gave me great pleasure to judge this lovely breed of good quality exhibits for my favourite club. 1 French’s Delbush Crackerjack At Frendet. 10 yr old blue d, keen expression, still keeps his topline on the move, thoroughly enjoyed his day out and was a credit to his owner. PD (2). 1 MacGregor’s Rowvale River Gambler. 8 mnth old confident p who was presented sympathetically to show off his many virtues. This smart tri-colour really appealed, good eye and expression, neat legs and feet, carried tail low and moved so well for his age. My co-judge and I agreed he should take BPIS over a v nice Rough who gave him a run for top spot; 2 Purvey’s Norfield Silver Knight For Freejack. Good coloured blue who thought the showing lark was great fun. Tail never stopped wagging and was not afraid to snog the Judge, nice shape and good expression but his happy disposition did spoil his movement. I found him a delightful character. SYD (2). 1 Purvey’s Freejack The Highlander. Tri with good rich tan markings, good head and dark eye, kept topline on the move with good tail carriage. Should have a promising career ahead of him for his sporting owner; 2 Hale’s Londer Look Smart. Well named upstanding sable. Good wedge to head, dark eye with alert expression, tight fitting jacket. Standing thought he might have been the winner but was not in tune with his handler on the move, which completely spoilt his outline. PGD (2). 1 Gadd’s Snuggletooth Olivers Twist Via Chicnoir. Eye-catching shaded sable, lovely shape, flat skull, correct stop and a tight fitting jacket. Lovely turn of stifle. Movement was true with plenty of drive. Had a good depth of chest, on today’s showing at 21/2 yrs has some exciting times ahead. BD; 2 Gadd’s Chicnoir Ice Breaker. Nice type, fluent mover, good shoulders and tail carriage. Could not match the ring presence of the winner. OD (2). 1 Moore’s Manordeifi Solar Eclipse. Upstanding tri-colour, well put together, masculine head, parallel planes, rounded muzzle with good underjaw. Had excellent bone with neat feet and legs, lovely tan markings. RBD; 2 Gadd’s Snuggletooth Fillys Fellow At Chicnoir. Smaller than the winner but of good proportion in ratio to height. Moved with drive, in lovely condition. Ran the winner v close. VB (2). 1 Moore’s Ch Manordeifi Silver Serenade. Super blue who I liked as a youngster who went on to get a well deserved title. Now 9 yrs and as keen as ever. Has retained her lovely shape, dreamy expression and just floated around the ring on the move. BOB. In the challenge for BIS we went indoors and she did not do herself justice so I agreed with my co-judge that the Rough Steven’s Lekoy Marbles Maiden JW ShCM should take the top spot. However, Silver Serenade went RB and BVIS. Well done; 2 French’s Delmbush Fantasia. 8 yr old tri who really enjoyed her day out. Active on the move, sweet feminine head, correct rise to the loin and was in good coat and condition. PB 1 MacGregor’s Rowvale Chasing Rainbows. Blue sister to PD winner. Not quite as outgoing as the d, was a nice colour, lovely reach of neck with lovely expression, used her ears well and for her age covered the ground well on the move. SYB (2). 1 Purvey’s Freejack Oh Mi Mi. Compact tri with good expression, good colour, sweet feminine head. Did lack confidence on the day. I hope this will come in time. PGB (5). 1 Griffith’s Alopex Plum Lush. Lovely tri with an elegant reach of neck, good shoulders and body shape. Kept her topline on the move covering the ground with ease. In hard condition, I liked her a lot; 2 Moore’s Manordeifif Star Attraction. Tri with good tan markings, keen expression set in a well defined head. Fluent mover completed a pleasing picture; 3 Purvery’s Chicnoir Lil’s Little Love Via Snuggletooth. OB (4). 1 Gadd’s Ch Snuggletooth Flurry’s Filly. V feminine tri with the blackest of coats who instantly appealed, as she looked so smart. On examination she was sound, honest and had a gorgeous expression. Handled and presented to perfection to RBB; 2 Griffiths Alopex Confetti Blue. Quality b of lovely colour who was also sound throughout, lovely reach of neck, depth of chest and carried herself well on the move. Would have preferred her ear carriage a bit tighter; 3 Moore’s Manordeifi Silver Dawn JW.
