I must first thank the exhibitors for turning out in a snowstorm for my opinion of their Smooth Collies, also to two special ladies for their support & this fine club for extending the invitation. J (3). Winner was a very promising tri colour b at 15 months old this one is one to watch she is Clark's Derbu Park Starstruck, her outline is very good best of angulations front & rear constructions are gd she has a lovely head type best of eye shape correct colour her head is very well balanced, she has a very good condition, best of tan markings good bone structure throughout, movement was very good. Was pleased to award her RBOB. G (3). 1 Wery's Dancerwood Shady Lady With Luvies, a very sound sable & white b, 3 years old moved well, she has a pleasing head pattern lovely eye giving a good expression she is a good size, I liked her coat & condition, she has a good outline with top line good both standing & on the move; 2 White's Dancerwood Jewel In The Sun. PG (3). 1 Seldo's Chicnoir Golden Charm At Merland. Lovely sable & white b this one best of head & eye good ears used well lovely balance of make & shape both standing & on the move, front & rear constructions very good, she was in lovely condition. I really liked this one; 2 White's Dancerwood Dollar Girl. OD (2). 1 Webb's Dancerwood Dangerman At Llevol, a seven year old sable & white d did not show age, he moved well was well constructed he has a pleasing head pattern & a nice size & a good sound male. OB (2). 1 Wilson's Hilltarn Jaguar From Encinas quite an outstanding 5-year-old blue merle b, best of heads lovely balance of fore face & back skull her eyes are lovely good ear set used well both eye & ear placement giving the correct expression she has the best of front & rear constructions lovely shoulder placement, rear stifle & hock are very sound she moved well, I had no hesitation in awarding her BOB & was very pleased to hear that she was RBIS later in the day. V (4). This was a lovely class to judge both first & second are outstanding Champions of this lovely breed. They were: 1 & BV Leach's Champion Hilltarn Hopeful, lovely blue merle bitch best of movers lovely head best of balance both standing & on the move lovely condition nice to handle coat was a very good condition, she held her top line on the move with the correct tail carriage; 2 & BOS Seldon's great Champion Merland Midnight Marauder, a first class tri colour dog best of sizes his make & shape are excellent movement was very sound he has a good masculine head pattern good eye & ear best of balance of muzzle stop & back skull good ears which he used well it was a pleasure to judge these two champions thank you; 3 White's Dancerwood Dollar Girl.
