My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at their show, a well organized event full of Christmas Cheer. A very good entry of very high standard only 3 absentees thanks to the exhibitors for their entry and sporting friendly atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my judging and delighted in agreement with my co judge to award the Smooth Collie dog Norman & Ratcliff’s Ch Foxearth Flash Past Best in Show, Smooth Collie bitch Hindes Ch Snuggletooth Flurry’s Filly R. Best in Show , Smooth Collie dog Saunt’s Rowvale Moon Rocket of Boothwood Best Veteran in Show. Rough Collie Hodges Jopium Magic in The Mist Best Puppy in show and Smooth Collie Fort’s Shulune Lady Heathertoes R. Best Puppy in show. Collie Smooth. VD/B (2) 1 Forbes Hilltarn Chance Blue bitch of good shape size fore chest angulations , strong loin natural ears showed well movement good. 2 Moores’ Manordeifi Sweet Sensation Nice type of bitch good ear eye set wedge head not in best of coats today. PD (5) 1 Norman & Ratcliffe’s Foxearth Blue Jeans forever BPD Won this class with ease good wedge head ears eye set as the name suggest blue of lovely colour liked his make and shape moved true and freely. Should go far. 2nd Forbes Shulune Lord of Ladros S/W with good wedge eye placement and ear set very good fore chest and bone moved out well just needs time. 3 Wallis’s Norfield Soul Mate. JD (2) 1 Griffiths Alopex Highland Fling Tri with clean head good dark eye would like tighter ear carriage good fore chest and loin moved true needs to mature. 2Hindes Chicnoir Talk Of The Town S/W Puppy of just 8 months with lovely wedge head nicely made good bone and angles. PGD (2) 1 Griffiths Alopex Highland Fling Repeat. 2 Hindes Chicnoir Lord Of The Ring S/W with super fore chest and shoulder placement correct head pattern tail carried high on the move have seen him show and move better. OD (4) excellent class. 1 Norman & Ratcliff’s Ch Foxearth Flash Past S/W super head good eye expression, ears right on top good shape size not over done in any way moved smoothly with good front and rear action shown and handled to perfection BD BOB BIS. 2 Saunt’s Rowvale Moon Rocket of Boothwood Tri Correct wedge masculine head neat ears dark eyes strong loin and angles for and aft. Moved freely RBD B Vet IS. 3 Hindes Chicnoir Quatermaster. PB (3) 1 Fort’s Shulune Lady Heathertoes S/W feminine head molded foreface good eye shape neat ears excellent forehand, angulations and bone movement true well handled. Promising future BPB BPIB RBPIS. 2 Evans Soothcombe She’s the One A size bigger shaded sable neat ears good angulations and tight feet moved ok. JB (3) 1 Griffiths Alopex Confetti Blue. Pretty Feminine blue lovely colour well marked good head pattern dark eyes nice neck well laid shoulders good croup body shape size moved out well RBB. 2 Wallis’s Norfield English Rose Just a baby of 8 months needs time but has all the essentials to finish well good wedge eye and ears nice angles and bone moved true. PG (1) 1 Moores Manordeifi Scheherazade S/W good wedge head dark eye ears well placed like her shape moved ok a little close behind. OB (6) V Good class. 1 Hindes Ch Snuggletooth Flurry’s Filly Attractive Tri of lovely shape feminine all round good wedge head super dark eye natural ears nice neck shoulders good forehand moved freely with drive BB RBOB RBIS. 2 Whittingham’s Southcombe Society Girl Another tri a size bigger but in proportion nice head pattern lovely eye good ears moved well keeping her top line. 3 Fort’s Chicnoir Elusive Dream at Shulune.
