I found some v nice Smooths of excellent quality with correct balance and movement. Some general faults were unbalanced heads, too short in stride, colour needs to improve in both tri's and merles.

V (3) 1 Lister's Ch Newarp Jesena Moonlight Sonata. An 8 yr old b, a little dark in blue colour, excellently constructed with a good head and expression, beautiful neck and outline, excellent body and bone, well balanced all over, moves v well. BOB winner; 2 Forbes' Joeileen Harmony. 7 yr old feminine b, v good body and bone, nice head, good neck, should be blacker in colour, hackney movement.

P (1) 1 Clark's Glencorrie Beworthy Of Astrellita. 6 mth old masculine male p with v good head and expression, just slightly high over eyes for the moment, excellent reach of neck, v good body, good bone and angulations, sound mover, should have a bright future! BP.

JD (2) 1 Norman's Foxearth Flash Past. Sable masculine d with excellent proportions, good head and expression, needs to develop fore chest, good body and bone, free and easy movement. BOS winner.

OD (1) 1 Clark's Astrellita Absoluto. Tri male rather heavy constructed, masculine head, ears a little wide, neck could be longer, excellent body and bone, good back, croup and angulation, movement needs to improve, should be more black in colour.

JB (1) 1 Clark's Derbypark Starstruck. 8 mth tri b with a feminine head, excellent expression, good neck, body and bone, needs to develop in fore chest, should be more black in colour, back line could be stronger, easy movement.

PGB (4) 1 Seldon's Chicnoir Golden Charm At Merland. Sable b with excellent proportions, feminine nice head, sufficient stop, good neck body and bone, needs more fore chest and should be more steady in front, good angulations, free movement from side; 2 Wery's Dancerwood Shady Lady With Luvies. Feminine b with a good head, nice expression, sufficient neck, slightly short in proportion, rather straight in shoulder, v good body and bone, should move more freely.

LB (4) 1 Clark's Astrellita Bedazzled. Tri b with excellent proportions, feminine head, good expression, good ears, v good neck, excellent body and bone, too straight in upper arm, excellent hindquarters, moves well from side, slightly unsteady in front; 2 Hills' Devern Dark Mistress. Tri b with exc proportions, slightly strong head, nice expression with ears on top, v good neck, exc body and bone, well angulated, moves a little unsteady behind, v well from side.

OB (4) 1 Lister's Ch Newarp Jesena Moonlight Sonata. See Veteran; 2 Clark's Ch Lowerpark Pandora At Derbypark. Nicely coloured blue b with a feminine, well shaped head, exc expression, good neck, too straight in supper arm, exc body and bone, v good angulations, moves easily with good stride, shows non-stop.
