A very difficult class all the exhibits were very immature and their toplines and movement reflected this. 1. Hutchings Tendrow I Am The One. Most mature exhibit with best of the toplines. Lovely head with good eyeshape. Good front but toes in behind. Interesting coat texture

May 2017 Birmingham National Championship Show - 1st Minor Puppy Bitch & Best Puppy in Breed - Judge ; Darren Fellows

Classy head piece with good eye shape enhancing that true wire expression, lovely type, good prosternum with well filled oval front for a youngster, held a strong topline, well ribbed with correct underline, good angulation front and rear, moved with accuracy and covered good ground in profile, I felt she was carrying too much weight and would be even better without the excess BP

A good harsh jacket with a good feminine strong hound head and eye. . A good fore chest and lay of shoulder. Neat elbows. Correct Ribbing and loin length overall length and depth ratio correct. I would prefer to see a little less weight . Good angulation and correct tailset. Movement was flowing and reached out to give length to the stride. Showing pads. Which gives the correct clearance for movement. Of good temperament. A worthy winner BPIB

July 2017 Leek Show - 1st AVNSC Dachshund, Best Puppy and Best AVNSC - Simon Burton

Beautiful quality 11 months puppy bitch. Great type, proportions and balance. Long, conical head, good strength of jaw and aristocratic demeanour. Intelligent, quizzical look from beautifully shaped and set eyes. Broad, well rounded, correctly set ears. Excellent length of neck, clean and slightly arched running into copybook front with super lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Oval front, enough pro-sternum with lovely shape to keel and length to ribbing giving a shapely underline. Short, strong loin with a slight arch before topline gently curves away over a broad, muscular rump to well angulated quarters. Nice and short from hock to ground. In good dense, harsh body coat, just needs to harshen on leg hair. Her outline flows from nose to tail and on the move she goes with superb balance and rhythm and with her super angulation she has an excellent length of stride and great drive from the rear holding a perfect topline and tail carriage. Possesses a lovely temperament and is simply a delight to judge. Another whose future I will watch with great interest as I'm sure she is one for the upper house and has a great career ahead of her. Hutching’s Tendrow I Am The One from Collidach, just over a year old and really scrummy! So beautifully balanced in head and so keen in expression, super eye and ears well set and used to advantage. Very much of a piece and so good to go over, each part fitting neatly into the next, boasts good angles front and rear, good brisket and forechest, lovely ribbing, carries just the right amount of body. Moves with great reach and drive off neat hocks, happy and draws the eye in profile. Presented in super nick and jacket, and handled to best advantage. She was the one today, and I was delighted to award her and her sporting handler BB and later BOB. Good luck, will watch her progress with interest.

An honest well-made bitch with nothing to really dislike, she has a lovely conical head, with good length and balance, enough neck, well made shoulders and good length of upper arm. Excellent ribbing, carried well back. Good turn of stifles and lovely bunchy feet and good bone without being over heavy. Kept her topline moving and stood. In good coat.
