Judge Duna Jones (Erjon)

I would like to thank Scottish Breeds Canine Club Committee for  inviting me to judge Smooth Collies at their show and for their hospitality. My  stewards were excellent and made my job so much easier. I must apologise to the  exhibitors for the speed in which they were judged but that was beyond my  control. It was fun while it lasted!!!

VD(1) 1 Hayward's Ch Sandcastle's  True Topic. Lovely correct head, nice eye and expression, good length of back  and turn of stifle. Moved well.

LD(3) 1 Hayward's Foxearth Flintab.  Upstanding blue merle dog who is a beautiful colour. Nicely balanced head with  well placed ears which he used all the time. Well boned and in good condition.  Good neck, good length of back and moved very well. CC & BOB. 2 French's  Foxearth Flock Master For Breckamore. Another upstanding tricolour dog with a  truly black coat. Nice head, nice eye, good set of ears and a good neck. Plenty  of bone and moved well. Unlucky to meet his brother in sparkling form. Res CC.  3 Williams' McClelland Hotter Than Hell.

VB(1) 1 French's Lilymead  Amazing Grace. Ultra feminine bitch with a nice head and well placed eye giving  a truly sweet expression. Well placed ears which she used all the time. Good  coat and in good condition. Moved well. CC, which I understand made her up.

JB(2)  1 Hayward's Kiiramanna She Makes My Day At Foxearth. Good coloured merle of  nice shape with a good head. Well shaped eye and ears, good bone and moved  well. Res CC. 2 Roden's Fortane Cookie From Breckamore. S/w with good body and  bone. Needs more ring training and was a little long in foreface for me.

PGB(1)  1 French's Finnish Touch For Breckamore. Tricolour of nice size, balanced head  with good eye, plenty of bone and moved well.   Would like her ears a little tighter.

OB(3, 2) 1 Benton's Alopex Marionette  Of Oakestelle. Feminine bitch with good body and coat. Balanced head, good  muzzle, neat ears and moved well. Would like a smaller eye.
