It was unfortunate that there was a breed Championship
show on the same day and the weather did not help the entry. The Society did an
excellent job in accommodating all the breeds into a dry space, our ring was
small but we made the best of it. My two stewards Gail Hussey and Marjorie Coar
deserve a medal for their weekends work.
JD(3, 2) 1 Cook's Res Best Dog, Ryecombe Duncan Disorderly At Kimbru.
12 months sable with a promising shaped head. Good shaped eyes and colour, and
pigment. Uses ears well. Has a good front. Is well angulated both ends. Moved
well. Excellent temperament.
PGD(2, 1) 1, BD &BOB, Hill's Devern Denman. Quality 19 months
tricolour. Well shaped head, eye, colour, shape and pigment. Has well set ears.
Correct front with excellent reach of neck onto a firm level topline and a well
angulated rear that is sufficiently muscled. Has nice steady movement. Excellent
temperament.
OB(2, 1) 1 and BB, Robinson's Southcombe Summer Special At Dawcher. 13
months feminine sable. With a promising head maturing nicely. Very outgoing with
excellent temperament. Her ears are correctly set and she uses them well. Good
eye shape and colour and is well pigmented. Good reach of neck. Considering the
small size of the ring her movement was well co-ordinated.
